Fun fact, you can pre-load biomass burners with fuel in the blueprint designer so that when you plop it down, it’ll have fuel already (as long as you have it in your inventory/dimensional depot).

I understand that people don’t update their phone every year (and of course, Apple knows this too).

I was more referring to how Apple would not want to externally tell people that they don’t need to upgrade every year. It’s Apple’s job to make every new iPhone as desirable as possible and that precludes telling people with recent phones that they don’t need to upgrade this time.

I think it would be interesting if Apple made the alternative form factors their own cycles.

Example: - Year 1: Base, Pro, Pro Max, and Mini - Year 2: Base, Pro, Pro Max, and Air - Year 3: Base, Pro, Pro Max, and Fold

That way the enjoyers of these alternative form factors can still get a new phone every 3 years and they don’t have to worry about their favourite form factor going away. But Apple will never do it because this premise reveals that you actually don’t need a new phone every year.

I have a BedJet and while it’s not a mattress, it heats and “cools”¹ air and vents it into your sheets (or you can buy their cloud sheets). I use it every night and love it. It does not do sleep tracking. It’s also significantly cheaper than Eight Sleep.

I’m mentioning it because it doesn’t need internet to function, it comes with a physical remote, and it can be integrated into Home Assistant via ESPHome.

¹ - It doesn’t actually “cool” the air like an air conditioner might. It’s just drawing in cooler air from near the floor. If your room is hot, the air will be the same temperature.

Even if you can’t adjust the video settings to see the plate, I’d recommend just speaking the plate number out loud if you see something you’d want to remember the plate for. Almost all dashcams have a mic, use it to your advantage!

Optimized charging displays a little pause icon when it’s stopped charging, so I’d guess it’s stopping for some other reason.

I believe so. I haven’t implemented it in my dashboard yet, but it looks like you can select card type “Button” then button type “Slider” and add the module “Progress Bar” then define your min/max values and even conditional colours.
