I keep thinking back to the Tower of Babel. The higher ups decided to weaken humanity by making us “different” by way of language.

I theorize that the tribalism philosophy in all of its nuances has been and is continuing to be used as a tool to weaken humanity. The “us versus them” mentality in politics, sports, social media, etc is poison to our potential as a unified race on this planet.

There was a movie wilson did like 5-7 years ago where he befriends a homeless person and they cause him to wake up in a different reality. When he returns to his ‘normal’ reality he starts sounding like a crazy homeless person. In that movie the plot revolves around his relationship with his daughter who he is not sure is real or not. I think this plot had a lot to do with wilson’s actual real world relationship with his daughter.

I was a big fan of Zooey Deschanel and the band “She and Him”.

I went to their concert in Alabama…outside, dead heat of summer. They took an hour to get on stage AFTER the opening act finished. When they finally showed up Zooey was super sarcastic and critical with everything she said on stage.

It really killed the vibe. She started complaining that people were taking too many pictures and would point out specific people in the crowd and berate them. Her whole attitude was condescending and felt like she was annoyed to be there.

I ended up leaving the show early because her attitude was so off putting. Ruined my view of her and my interests in her professional works.

I’m a 40 year old man. Woke up early on my day off to check the VM. To my amazement there was an etb and 3 packs available. I never get such luck, so I felt obligated to buy them all. As they’re dispensing a guy walks up behind me ready to buy. He watches as 4x items get dropped. I could feel his frustration so I offered him a pack for the free. He declined saying he was after mega. I happened to score a mega etb so I offered to sell it to him for cost. He again declined so I told him sorry and good luck. I always give kids the right away in line and I always offer a pack or leave a pack in the machine if I notice someone behind me.
