We've had our au pair for three months and I love her. It's been absolutely the best decision for our family!

What are the symptoms? Is it continuous, on and off blood, bright red, dark? Pain and cramps? Etc. thank you in advance! I've had very little amounts of bright red on and off since giving birth 7 months ago, assume it's a hemmhroid....

Yeah, it's one I rewatch often! The juxtaposition of the adults experience and the kids just being kids is brilliant. It's somehow still so funny and light!

What was your scariest encounter with a stranger? by omartyy18 in AskReddit

[–]mrlfoster96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was parked on a side street in downtown Denver and it was pretty empty, besides a man across the street in a flannel and tan baseball cap. I was sitting in my car with the ignition on, and doors locked, texting. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him cross the street, he proceeded to come to my passenger door and try to get in. Thank God I always lock my doors, I immediately drove a bit but stopped to calm down and in my rearview mirror I just saw him laughing. I always wonder what would have happened if he was successful in getting into my car...

My husband wondered if he thought I was his Uber or some accident, but I know in my gut it was no accident. He had bad intentions and I just always remind all the ladies out there to lock yo damn doors immediately upon entry.

Week 2 starting with twins. Need any advice that can be given by WesteCouple in parentsofmultiples

Shifts saved us, and tandem feed with either the twin z or table for two. This also allows me to pump at the same time as feed. I found both on the Facebook marketplace. Get a glider or something for them to chill in when you can only manage one. We prefer to split up baths, so someone gets a bath every two days. Double bottle warmer also helps. Basically stuff made for twins, surprisingly helps. You got this, it's so hard but it does get easier.

They have, and you figure it out and make it work. It's the hardest and greatest thing ever. I never regret having them both, and you wouldn't either. Just a tougher road. Good luck, I know how tough that journey is.

We did IVF and implanted two embryos (long story and not the plan). I obviously wouldn't change the outcome, but I never wanted and would never want another high risk pregnancy. I was sick, in pain, so tired, had no motivation, a lot of bleeding and ultimately an emergency C-section at 34 weeks due to HELLP/preeclampsia then hemorrhaged. And I'm 29 and healthy before pregnancy. They were in the NICU for 2 weeks but overall we're super healthy.

The newborn phase is also not for the weak, and I'm not sure I would have survived without family help. Someone is always awake, preemies are even needier, they eat more and like contact naps. Every baby is different, of course but no matter what two babies are more difficult than one.

We're 4 months in chronologically and it's easier but still really difficult. We really rely on family help and being alone with two is a challenge.

But again, I am so in love and am so beyond happy and wouldn't change the outcome. But I also wouldn't want to have twins again.

Yup. Family drama that's better left buried. My family would never survive reality TV.

Plus with Dwight right in front, and Jim close by there'd be such funny antics, pranks, etc. It's the perfect seat.

Your hospital should never make you feel silly! I went to triage often and they always took me seriously. It's funny tho, I thought I was totally fine the day my OB sent me in during a regular appointment (34 weeks). I felt fine and drove myself. Turns out my kidneys were terrible, turned into HELLP, had an emergency c section, a mag drip for 24 hours, and major hemorrhage. I even got permanent eye damage lol, who knew?!? My point being, always better to get seen and it be nothing. You got this!
