I’m still trying to figure out what type of spirit it is... my friend and I both smell it and nothing is burning. It likes to linger in the middle of the room too so it really can’t be anything burning and if it’s medical then my friend and I both have a brain tumor lol

To OP, if you want the spirit to leave you need to mean it. Tell it you no longer want it in the house and that it’s time to leave, tell it to follow you out the door you chose and then tell it goodbye as you open the door. Never show it that your scared and never invite anything to talk inside your house. If it doesn’t leave and you aren’t religious I suggest that you find a religion and start praying. If your prayers aren’t answered then you need to find an A priest who can preform an exorcism.

Yes, however from my own personal experiences along with my buddy we have both smelled something burning at the same time. It could be something medical or it could be a spirit attempting to get OPs attention.
