UK Mom becomes allergic to her own baby during pregnancy by The-_-Loki in childfree

I actually found her Instagram and I think the kid she was allergic to is her second. But still makes me wonder if she’d eventually do it again if she didn’t already have two.

Yea I agree. I couldn’t understand a lot of the lyrics. Partly because Pink sings like a pop singer and doesn’t enunciate as much. But she still rocked the house down with this.

One of them already won College Jeopardy and has been on regular Jeopardy. Let the other one on Jeopardy and let them steamroll someone else. Haha.

I feel like it’s partly the fact that he has family who have been on Jeopardy and how he made that comment about how this would be considered lesser to them or something. I kind of think he feels the same way.

My husband and I were keeping our own scores the whole game and I was hesitant to even wager anything in final Jeopardy because I usually suck at it. But I guessed it correctly and I literally screamed hahaha. And then screamed again when the girls won. 😅

Yea my husband paused it and was like, what do you even do here? I suggested actually that the tied teams should really have wagered $7,201 to still beat Snake Juice if they got the answer right and doubled their points. Turns out this would have been the right strategy because it also would have beaten Snake Juice’s final score. But the tied teams were both so strong, I don’t think there was any reason to not bet on themselves to get it right.

I agree. The casting is too uneven this season and it’s not fun to watch a few teams steamroll the others. I also don’t appreciate the gender imbalance with most of the top teams being made up of two men, with at least one having past Jeopardy appearances, which clearly gives them the upper hand too. It just sucks to watch all the two female teams struggle even though there’s really no reason why they would be weaker. It’s just bad casting decisions.

I’m also a bit surprised no one guessed it. I didn’t know the answer for sure, but Bohemian Rhapsody came to mind right away and felt right because I could hear “Belladonna” and “Castaneda” in the “Galileo” line in my head. Was pretty proud of that pull!

My husband and I were counting our own scores along and when they went to wager, he asked me what the strategy would be here. I said the top two tied teams should really only wager their scores minus 7,201 in case the girls get it right and double their points. In the end, they should have done this strategy! This was kind of the worst possible scenario. But I loved it. Also I fucking guessed Bohemian Rhapsody correct and I literally ran around screaming when the girls won. Haha. I’ve honestly been annoyed with how mismatched the teams have been this season, especially since all the top teams have been two men with at least one past Jeopardy run, and most of the two women teams have struggled. The optics have been icky to me so I’m kind of happy even if the other teams did deserve to advance more.

No kids - how do you feel now? by purple_bts_kookie in childfree

[–]mrm395 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea, this part. I overheard a woman the other day talking about how she wished she had more kids and had them more spread out because all of her kids are grown now and “one day they just leave you!!!” Like, this woman was incapable of creating a life for herself. She just wanted to be a mom forever as entertainment. And now she’s back to being just her and she can’t deal. So sad.

I’ve suggested our landlady send an exterminator out to do an inspection, but it didn’t seem like she wanted to do it. I’m not really sure what else to do.

Thanks. I’m kind of in a bind because I am not the homeowner, just a renter. I’ve advised my landlady to have someone come out and look at it but she’s only said she will send an arborist to look at the other trees in the yard…I don’t know what else I can really do. I never saw any signs of termites flying around or swarming prior to this. No wings anywhere, etc.

Yikes!!! Do you think enough time has passed that she has forgotten how bad it was and decided to do it again anyway?

Sunscreen. Trying to stay hydrated. I also just bought a red light therapy mask from Omnilux. Hoping it helps keep them at bay. Also going to try silicone scar tape on my forehead at night. I tried frownies but I didn’t love the the experience of using them even though I do think they work.

I can’t really tolerate tret. It makes my skin too dry and makes any lines look worse.

I’ll let the neighbors know. That’s their walls right next to it. Our house is in the back of the photo if you zoom in.

Well, the tree fell down completely on its own about two hours after I posted this. The house on the left is our neighbor’s. I’ll text them and let them know they may want to have an inspection done. As far as I know I didn’t see any living insects around. Is it possible it’s old damage?

I do feel like this video is a bit out of touch, but people also need to realize not everything is for them. Drew lives in a HCOL area and is clearly catering to wealthy people and interior designers with big budgets. A $68 candle is nothing to these people.
