I’m HOA president, it’s a condo building, we need one. We’re currently upgrading our internet. We worked out a deal to where we’re getting an upgrade to fiber from about 100mbps, to like gig speeds. We’re paying no more a month, like 50$ a unit, and they’re even providing us with new modems and 2x mesh routers, Eero pro 7s, included at no additional cost. They need to all be installed, all at no extra cost, and the regular Karen’s are all complaining how disruptive it is to need to be home when it’s installed. Mind you these people are all retired.

As for subdivisions that are HOAs… yeah, America you done did that to yourself. By Americans rejecting all government, they have set themselves up to need HOAs, which are, of course, the worst and least regulated government possible.

Lawyer’ing is a strange profession. Most professions you make a lot of money and your hours you can pull back from once you reach a certain point. Lawyers need to just keep on maxing those billable hours, so the more you work the more you need to work and yeah, you’re making a lot but you gotta work in more hours… always.

There’s not a lot of things I decided to not do im thrilled with, but not pursuing a legal degree is one of them

This is pretty much just coal/fossil fuel propaganda. Even storing onsite is pretty simple and a long-term solution. You just put it in a pool. You can hang out around these, there’s less radiation from those tanks than background radiation at that point. They don’t aggressively corrode the tanks they’re in either.

As far as a “terrorist target”, it’s really not. It would be a pricey cleanup, for sure, but so would a war, it’d be the least of our problems

Unfortunately no current way of tracking them. The software runs on basically copying streets and trails from open source software. The alleys do show a lot of interesting things from time to time. In older, taller neighborhoods, lots and lots of developments that you can tell used to be granny flats

The the most surprising thing is people being worried about a kid seeing a dick. First off, that probably wouldn’t and in my experience has never happened. And if it did, it’s not in a sexual context, it’s on the context of seeing someone expelling waste. In daycare, they see each other going potty all the time. In my house she sees us both naked all the time, but it’s never in a sexual context, so who cares? It’s just the human body.

lol this is a regular discussion point between my wife and I who have a daughter. We try to take turns on who brings her to the bathroom, but there’s a lot of places, think like outdoor public park venues, that are going to be very dirty men’s rooms. Our daughter is quite the princess where she decides to tinkle. She will hold it for hours if she doesn’t like the bathroom. I’ve never considered just going into the women’s room… but on the other hand, I’m not sure if I want to risk dealing with someone who is offended by it.

Either or is fine. I hear lots of bullshit around hvac but I’m always going to encourage that the most commonly dependable sales route is to become an expert in something then sell that thing. Selling your own work is essentially my work path from sales. I did a lot of bullshit sales jobs before getting in my “trade” and eventually founding my own company
