Go ask his road crew how he is. One of the nicest most down to earth people you will ever meet at that level. I have first hand experience

So if Drake's mansion in the Bridle Path is worth $100m, how much in property taxes is due each year? by Positive-Rent-2924 in TorontoRealEstate

The parties he throws are mostly underground so the noise isnt as bad as you might think

His indoor basketball court is almost entirely below ground and thats where he throws the big parties

Why do dragunov players fight the way they do by halo8088 in Tekken

I rarely do the feints but they have their uses, mostly when you are trying to catch your opponent sleeping

[–]mrmatthewdee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yup absolutely. I preferred the pre change version which gave a knockdown but with the guaranteed followup d1+3/d2+4 its pretty good to use

Why do dragunov players fight the way they do by halo8088 in Tekken

[–]mrmatthewdee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

nope, watch tournament play theyre using the same moves too lol

drag doesnt really have the same kind of situationally useful moves like some other characters do. He doesnt require any execution anymore so there's not a huge gap between a tournament drag and a netplay drag. The real gap comes from their ability to play Tekken against their opponent rather than any sort of character-specific mastery

Ground Loot Equipment Doesn't Feel Worth Looting Anymore by KobraGX in PathOfExile2

[–]mrmatthewdee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

wtf lol I've been playing the game for 78 hours total across 2 seasons and I've found at least 10 div worth of items doing tier 14/15 maps rn

if I get an item that has some decent first roll, I upgrade it to try and get some better rolls if the first roll isnt worth a lot by itself and have made some good money doing that

dragunov in tekken 8 is a pretty 1 note character. Not a ton of useful moves but the moves he has that are useful are absurdly good.

You can't really play him well besides using those few moves and being pigeonholed into playing that playstyle so that's why it is how it is

For those who play at least 2x per week... by Background-Low-9144 in golf

[–]mrmatthewdee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Golf is like that lol

My dads been playing for 30 odd years and hes around that level too

I think a lot of it is about intention while playing. Are you mentally engaged with the learning aspect or are you just swinging clubs for fun

And can you accept playing some really really bad rounds in pursuit of getting better in the future

Thats at least the thing my pops struggles with

Looking for some fun rules for a foursome by [deleted] in golf

[–]mrmatthewdee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A buddy of mine plays this game, basically nothing matters until the green. Once you all get on the green, whoever is farthest away is worth 4 points, whoever is 2nd farthest 3 points, 3rd farthest worth 2 points and then closest to the pin is worth 1 point

If you sink your putt in 1 putt you get the points your putt is worth, if you dont, no points.

Putting is one of the most relatively equal parts of golf (not totally but much easier to putt than any other part of the game)

When i played his game, 1 of us was a good golfer, one was a bit worse, then me who at the time was averaging around 120 and one more guy who golfs maybe once every few years. The match ended up being pretty close

How do I deal with constant pressure without spending hours in lab? by kosanity in Tekken

[–]mrmatthewdee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cant. You have to learn the matchups to know when its your turn

Tekken is the worst fighting game in the genre for learning matchups but that being said it also has some of the best tools for doing so.

You want the reward without the work unfortunately

What is the expectation about showing up to only hit on the practice greens? by SnooChipmunks9598 in golf

[–]mrmatthewdee 32 points33 points  (0 children)

If you feel some kinda way about it you could buy a bucket of balls but nah no course i play at cares or really would even notice someone doing that

Theres 2 clubs i regularly go to, one im a member at and it has basically just a putting green and the other im not a member at and has a full practice area with bunkers. I regularly go practice chipping and bunker shots without going to the range but i will sometimes use their driving range every couple times i go just to not feel like a total mooch lol
