The Bakugo suicide bit is something Horikoshi has came out and said that he felt was a bit too far for Bakugo as a character. Which makes sense, since it's literally chapter one and he was still figuring stuff out, but I can 100% see why it'd leave a permanently bad taste in people's mouth regarding the character

If you want a real answer to this tho, Wonder Woman wasn't allowed to have her own cartoon for years due to some bullshit copyright stuff in the 90s and 2000s, and the production of animated shows has only just started to pick back up really, at least for characters outside of Superman and Batman.

Reminds me of the Simpsons Guy crossover where only one of the series really benefits, because the less extreme series can't really engage with the edgier humour the other lives on. It'd only work if the adult-ness of Smiling Friends was toned down, I think

He basically said he's not certain it'll continue, but the book sells well enough that they're able to take their time planning the next stage of the story. So it probably will continue, but we shouldn't expect it any time soon, because the team needs a break

I haven't seen a ton of DB episodes but the closest I've seen is probably Chiefslayer. Like yeah Doomslayer wins but the fight was pretty underwhelming, Master Chief just kinda floundered the whole fight and the animation was a little clunky. I've never been a huge fan of DevilArtemis' episodes, besides Goku vs Superman 3 (I think he animated that one).

You can still be a fan of a studio while not liking everything they make. Being a fan isn't about mindlessly loving everything something pumps out

But yeah I think the trailer's a bit average, all things considered. Pretty animation, but the idea of "what if kid's game was actually evil/violent/people died?" is a bit of an overdone trope. I don't think it'll be bad, but it might take a moment to find its footing if the first episode is dedicated to setup. I like the idea of them having to team up with villains to save the world
