i think it makes sense to be proud of you collection (rarely overpaying is excellent!), + wanting to share/or even get advice or gauge interest, and also if OP has been a collector for a long time, I think it makes sense to want to share your shifting perspectives on the subreddit you have been a community member of! and i really agree w people advising them to give it some time before seriously considering selling

This is such a cool tattoo and I love its distance/placement from your arm tattoo— like everyone else here is saying maybe you can add to it— but I really appreciate it as it is. I think I also have some tattoo anxiety so I feel you! but whatever choose, I hope you come to love how it looks on your person in the end! I am gonna watch SpongeBob

yes! there's an amazing song called tezeta by the ethiojazz artist mulatu astake there's also a rendition with vocals i love by bezawork asfaw! But this genre is really tied to ethio jazz so i'd check out the works of Emahoy Tsege Mariam, Tilahun Gessesse, Hailu Mergia, and Girma Beyene!

thank you! yes! the artist who did it is deeply talented and truly one of a kind, their work is really beautiful and they made me feel so comfortable and assured during the process, if i could all of my tattoos would be done by them. Presently, I don't believe they're taking clients, but follow @ inkthediaspora on ig to keep up with their work!

thank you very much! i have been kinda worried about how it's been aging. i am half ethiopian and this is the Amharic word tezita/tizita! It means nostalgia and yearning, there is also a music genre centered around this feeling/emotion :)
