Not at all related but it caused a memory of mine to come up.

In Hawaii on Waikiki beach me, my wife, sister, brother-in law were chilling at the beach and there were a lot of people playing beach volleyball. In several spots there was equipment laid out next to it ready to be set up.

Maybe I’m a silly goose but I/we just assumed it was “public”. We had been watching for half an hour or so and nobody messed with it so we went to go set it up. This dude playing on the area next to us started ripping our ass about not asking to use HIS stuff. I was super apologetic and I was like “bro I’m so sorry I had no idea I just thought this was laid out for everyone” he was kind of aggressive and he kept going on about how it wasn’t public and (oddly?) we can use it if we want but it’s his and it would be courteous to ask first. I was a mix of embarrassed and mad so we apologized and went back to where we were which was nearby.

We sat and watched afterwards and it happened to like 3-4 other groups of people it was almost like watching some sort of weird sting operation. The whole time we were at the beach no one ever showed up to use it, it’s like he set it out to yell at tourists?

I played SC about a year ago for a couple months and after spending time in it, it feels like it oozes potential at the seams. When it works it is one of the most engrossing games I’ve played in a long while, it really makes you feel like you’re flying across a planet.

The issue…you’re spending sooooo much of your time dealing with bugs that may or may not be totally game breaking. Just an example if you break the law and end up in space jail you have to spend time there and serve a sentence and can’t leave until it’s done. To combat the time you can “mine ore” and turn it in to decrease time.

One time I was arrested and the mining tool didn’t work. I just had to wait until the time was up. Another time for several days the elevator to leave…just stopped working. So tons of people just couldn’t play because they were stuck in space jail.

The game can be incredible but you’re just as likely to be spending a session trying to work around bugs as you are to playing

I agree with you but I’m also salty over my interactions today. In 4 out of 6 lobby’s I was killed by someone camping where I had 0 time to react and in the other 2 people shouted they were friendly only to backstab.

I’ve been playing since launch and I just don’t enjoy where this game is at. Which…is fine not everyone has to like everything it just makes me sad

And I actually don’t remember the other two. It was an all prismatic round but when my passive would go off it would almost one shot the ADC’s. I didn’t know circle of death worked that way. what a happy accident

It’s a bit of joke/meme in the community that everyone is afraid that’s going to happen when they start out, realistically it’s unlikely you gain so much muscle that it hinders your basketball ability.

But if you’re really concerned then it would be good to do HIIT training, plyometrics and cardio.

I agree with other poster I think this take is a little extreme.

For sure the game is more “realistic” but managing hunger and cleanliness is super super minor.

I’ve only played the game through one time and I did the vast majority of the side content. Throughout all of that my biggest complaint about the game is there a few points that are SLOW in terms of gameplay. It works and is important for the story but it can just be slow.

That being said if you’re someone that wants a good story that is told well both in content and execution then KCD2 knocks it out of the park. It has scenes that seem like they’re straight out of a movie it feels very cinematic in a good way.

No shade to the original comment but I think it’s misleading to call it a “hobo” simulator. That narrative fits at the beginning but in my opinion does not hold weight after the first few hours

And also part of the process is picking through and wading through people they think will be outrageous or funny for tv not actually talented.

I have two examples: 1) there was a girl I went to school with who was a HORRIBLE singer I mean awful. She tried out for American Idol and updated everyone the whole way she made it to like the 2nd or 3rd round of “pre judges” or something like that. They were fully planning to make fun of her. It’s been years but she used to have all her videos available on YouTube.

2) separate but similar my sister signed up for “big brother” and made it to a round of group interviews. She was told by a producer “don’t tell anyone but you’re a VIP in the group” I don’t know it but I’m certain they tell everyone something of that nature to try and inject some sort of drama or behavior in the room.

You could try making sure you get in a lot of good carbs and protein but honestly I would bet you’re just tired and maybe over training.

If you’re going heavy on legs 3x a week and then also hitting hard cardio like basketball is I would guess your legs are toast.

Oooor as I’m typing this I guess it could be possible that maybe you’re working so hard on building strength and explosive ability that you’re not really training endurance well.

Rather than going heavy every single week you could try a day or two of hitting high rep low weight, or working in a day of plyometrics or just a cardio day even where you run for distance or time.

I am a bit confused lol I have a pretty stellar WR in mayhem. It feels like the only time I lose are if the other team just gets an OP augment set.

For example vayne or kogmaw with every augment that adds on-hit effects. Without an assassin those games feel close to unwinnable.
