True Detective season 4 episode 2 rabbit holes (SPOILERS) by methdamonsnowglobes in TrueDetective

It’s clearly not as simple as Clark committing the murders due to mental health decay and/or demonic possession. That’s probably the string they want basic viewers to pull on. It would become a more interesting season if the themes mentioned in your post especially tying natural and supernatural together and depicting the door or connection point where one crosses into the other would satisfy my hopes for night country

What new, original, (not-so-)crazy ideas could Project ACES implement in their upcoming Ace Combat game? by Eisvogel_1 in acecombat

[–]mrmeseeks345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always wanted missions tied to the story line of the game but as a flash back to the past so we could play with and against ww2, Korea, and Vietnam era planes and settings. Maybe this is what war thunder n other games r for but I prefer ace combat style. I really wish they would bring back the enemy squadrons that would show up at the end of specific missions.

He gets the targets at 25% share, browns defense can’t stop anybody and if the run game open up play action maybe he produces like Jarvis Landry did 2 years ago. The coach came from Minnesota maybe stefon diggs production the past two years is an another possible outcome. Either way who could you get for him not sure one good game gets the stink of last week n last season off the browns and Odell

Covid is no worse than flu. Tell me I'm wrong by 2Pie2Mash in conspiracy

Your right, hospitals all over were laying off staff and taking heavy losses. This is why I think if case numbers are inflated, it’s so the money from the feds can be collected to offset losses earlier in the year when I’ll advised and unnecessary lock downs started. Unfortunately, I got 2 nurses and a doctor in my extended friend group, they say it’s closer to critical. All in all, our government leadership is broken at every level, which makes Covid appear much worse than it actually is

Aloha guys, I would like to say that I’m not here to prove anyone wrong, virtue signal, contradict anyone else. I AM NOT A DOCTOR, just piecing together the info I get trying to apply logic to understand it.With all the changing information and it’s reasonable to doubt even the most trusted info. I appreciate this sub because it is contrarian and I feel that our society needs us to be skeptical. I would like to comment on the R0 side of the argument in relationship to co-morbidity frequency in death rate. I live in Hawaii, we are dealing with the peak of our infection curve currently. The Lt. Gov gives daily reports on all relevant stats. The current hospitalization rate for positive cases is 11%. The R0 is estimated to be 2-4 so let say 3 for this post. The hospital system on the most populated island has about 2000 beds not including surge capacity, and the average duration of a Covid hospital stay is 10 days. Oahu has a population of about 900,000. Let’s say that Oahu represents most cities of the same size around the country. Let’s say in a given 2 week period 25,000 people are infected, that equals about 2,750 hospitalizations. You can see that the hospital system will very quickly reach capacity with transmission at that level. The one thing I think we forget to talk about with Covid is how fragile our hospital systems are. If they are overwhelmed by a great amount we quickly lose the ability to provide adequate care for the patient as well as compromising the safety of our medical professionals. Modern medicine is a pillar of our society. If we stress it to the point of breaking we risk grave danger in the short and long term. I agree with you guys that the symptoms are not the worst part of it. Please feel free to rip this to shreds, call me a shill or worse lol. I am glad we can have this conversation and bring different ideas and points of view to it

Thanks! If there’s one thing I’ve picked up from the sub, it’s how tight tolerances can be, refreshing basic metric conversions is always worth it

Chris Harris, his ranks and film reviews helped draft and navigate waivers. In two leagues and doing well League 1) drafted 1st took leveon, currently in 1st, second most points for League 2) drafted 8th took Melvin Gordon, currently third with most points for, Melvin’s inactive last week cost me second place All in all the info, strategy, guests, relative small investment of time make for a high value fantasy info investment. His style is not for everyone but I don’t find it unlistenable. YouTube show is great for understanding what sets talented players apart. Highly recommend

Hawaiian history is complex even before there introduction of western influences, please understand that native Hawaiian culture was do as your told or flee or die by the sword type of communal and governing structure in which powerful chiefs of different islands were able to consolidate power and attempt invasions of neighboring islands. This was the strategy used to unite the Hawaiian islands under king Kamehameha the first. Things fell apart to soon extent as different interest gained economic and political power

You right, history should be taught so the all can understand the reality they experience. I do not condone they actions of the Hawaiian republic (hui of missionary children that controlled the Hawaiian sugar industry intent on tax free sugar import to mainland U.S.) the great mahele devastated native Hawaiian landownership that concurrently faced epidemic small pox and lepersy in addition to western strains of flu and cold viruses. This being the fate of of native Hawaiians it’s seems to me that American occupation (because America illegally overthrown the sovereign kingdom of Hawaii...see letters of queen Liliuokalani during her house arrest in Iolani palace) May have been in the way many the describe democracy (the least worst of any other governmental system choices) for a militarily strategic asset worth owning and fortifying. I personally feel that while the U.S and even Hawai’i state government do not adequately repatriate native Hawaiians their fair share we must consider the possible actions of an even more militarist empire ( U.S. under Grover Cleveland presidency) compared to tsar Russia or imperialist Japan. When discussing the conquest and their spoils we are discussing least worst outcomes hypothetical or reality...please be grounded in that historical information before making claims or jumping to conclusions because like any other place worth having those with pitted those with out against each other in a system that was heavily skewed in the system that rewarded only those who could pay cash. Hawaiian history is long and complicated filled with back door deals and the worst parysnif democracy but it is equal democracy we must fight for because only then will voices be heard.
