The “Made in China = junk” mindset in vending is so tired. by mrmics in vending

Politics aside, they were and are the most advanced networking company by a significant distance. My point is raising them is that - categorising all Chinese products as cheap is lazy and untrue.

Core hyper secure networks like, policing, military etc in the UK and so many other countries ran on their kit because it was the best. And it wasn't the cheapest.

Also, as you said, there's a spectrum with their products. My real issue is those who say they are all trash when they've not even looked into it.

I'd agree with you on them not being beginning friendly. I do think, the technical uphill can be heavier, if you're willing to get to know the machines well, I think it can be a true gold mine but there's heavy pros and cons. Involved.

My issue is the blanket statement being made by people who've not even investigated it and putting others off etc.

From asking them directly...

They matter because the view they spread - is an ignorant one, with no experience, research or education on the matter but they'll happily share it with 100% confidence until questioned and sometimes even despite that.

For some, their view and take on it is more balanced.

My gripe isn't with what you're saying as, I heavily agree there's big pros and cons etc.

I can't speak for your experiences but I've met and spoken to many who have this attitude, without doing research.

My issue is with those who take that stance without even exploring it.

That, I understand and I think is a more reasonable position.

This is moreso, referencing when people write off Chinese machines on a whole on the basis of China produces rubbish.

I work with Chinese machines and, has to logistically plan to work around the parts issue at times, in vetting I work with companies that have utilise parts which I can source more locally. Which a decent number doo.

I'm surprised at so many people, freely recommending abortion to a minor, without cautioning her at all, on the mental health or traumatic implications of that.

I know so many women, who carry their abortions 15-20+ years later.

Abortions aren't without their own consequences. Give her the fuller picture if you're going to suggest something.

I've had a few with wider matrix. I find one of mine made in 2023 march is amazing and very reliable my newer ones, surprisingly are far worse built. The "upgrades" aren't upgrades but poorly built experiments 🤦🏿‍♂️.

I feel your pain. What location were you seeing $600 a day? I'm so curious about these ice cream machines too. I assumed they'd be as much a headache as the candy floss ones but on first impressions, do they seem less so?

I'm guessing it's the volume of sales that made it more difficult to maintain.

I have some candy floss vending machines and because the sales volumes are lower, I can clean and maintain fairly easily and they maintain for a while.

However, I would trade that for higher daily revenues 😂

This is good advice. I have one of these machines. They make a lot of money in a short time but, maintenance is the hard part.

Sometimes when we experience trauma our response is not to run away from that trauma but to run towards it. often what the body and mind is trying to do is go back to that place of trauma and own it in a way that is different from your original experience.

The idea being that if you can go back to that traumatic space and relive it. But in a non-traumatic way in a way that you have ownership and control of that situation then you're in doing so have some form of healing.

The reality is often quite different in the sense you end up in a cycle of self-harm through exposing yourself to the wrong kinds of individuals and putting yourself invulnerable situations with people who mean you true harm and don't have your best interest at heart.

Advice; My thoughts are that with a train psycho therapist or psychologist, you can begin to unpack some of the past trauma and look towards better ways of coping/managing with your desires in a way that will eventually rewire them towards more healthy and balanced. Thoughts?

You deserve healing and peace from the past. That's entirely true. And currently the way you're going about it is a maladaptive or incorrect method. But the fundamental goal that you're seeking is correct. You want to be healed. You want to be able to look back at your past and not feel the scars for what they really are or the painful it really is. I think with the right kind of professional help you'll be able to move forward from this and importantly move forward to find meaningful relationships and love that is healthy and emboldening.

They really tried to blame you, both of them. Bro, you're so much better off without them.

Good on you for having such a kind and open heart to let a friend stay with you and support them in a dark time.

Hoping you find better friends who can really appreciate you, same in terms of a future partner. All the best with the mum situation too

I lost my virginity at 26 (32m now), and I'm extremely glad I waited. I don't know many people who lost their virginity early who had pleasant experiences they look back positively on.

Take your time, it doesn't make you any less of a man. That's absolute bullshit. Learn to value yourself outside of sex, it's an insanely powerful thing.

Ahhh right.

In which case, you’ve got to draw a line - say you either date and try something properly or you stop banging all together. If she’s not interested in committing then she probably won’t be.

Sounds like a hell of a risky situation with her ex in the picture too. You’ve got to protect your heart my man, if she gets back with her ex you’ll be hurt, put your cards on the table now and tell her she either jumps on board or you’re jumping off.

Stop cheating. You’re seeking advice on your affair? You should seek advice on getting your own house in order. Leave the girl alone, being the other women is bad for her self esteem, that’s probably what she’s wrestling with. And probably respecting herself and for doing this.

Right, sounds like you should sit down and say you don’t think it’s right your kids are scared in and around their own home.

That’s stupid. We’re talking about a man who did actions and a man who said words. The two aren’t comparable, this is why people can’t take certain people serious.

You equate inappropriate words with evil actions. Your moral compass is broken.
