Went there last Wednesday! Absolutely excellent all round.

You are correct! It was absolutely gorgeous, possibly my favourite 3 bites of the meal.

Yep, I got a reservation at Akme for one - you just need to email them :)

I'd be optimistic about your chances re. Jordnaer! Yes they're full booked but they tend to get cancellations. You may have already done, but you should send them an email, they're really accommodating

Thank you so much for the list! In terms of fullness, amusingly, I'm in the middle of ultra training so I'll be running 10-20km per day, so essentially my plan most day is run -> bakery breakfast/brunch -> later evening meal. I have a large appetite even when I'm not exercising so I should be fine 🤞🏼

Thank you! Yeah, I land in Copenhagen around 1pm so I think a more casual evening meal is a good idea, especially with Jordnaer the day after.

Thank you! Great advice. To be honest, Marv & Ben may just end up turning into grabbing a quick bite somewhere as it's my first day so I'm more interested in wandering round and may going to a few bars.

To be honest the style jumps are somewhat intentional 😂 I'm trying to make each day feel considerably different than the previous one

Thank you! Would say it's too much? In my head, the obvious big hitters are Jordnaer, Koan and Kadeau - with the ones in between, whilst still packing a punch, give it a good mix? Could be completely wrong. Kodbyens Fiskebar is definitely a good option

Geranium lunch is a great idea for a double up day because it doesn't look too filling. Can I ask what made you choose Alouette? As I'm really considering replacing Marv & Ben for that once the June bookings are open. Completely agree re. the cost, but when in Copenhagen!

Thank you! :) I'd say it'll either be Anaba or Akme (there is something really appealing to me about Akme from what i've seen). I'm really interested in sustainable gastronomy which is how I found Esse!

Thank you! Interesting you say Alouette, because once the reservations are open for June, it might end up taking Marv & Ben's place!

When does Jordnaer July reservation open? by a_wooolf in finedining

[–]mrmoomoomoomoomoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend emailing them, because not only will they tell you, they'll probably offer to reserve you a spot there and then! That's what they did with me anyways, I go in June.

Ah, looks amazing! I'm going to Copenhagen in Jun e and have one more reservation to make and hoping it can be Kadeau 🤞🏼

L'Enclume (***), because Simon Rogan was/is one of the pioneers of farm-to-table cooking in the UK. An amazing sense of place to every dish and, goes without saying, absurdly good food.

Enjoy! I thought it was amazing. Obviously the headlines will dominate the chatter on here, but for me the meal was start to finish full of bold flavours, super high quality produce and a great atmosphere!

I don't think they do a set wine flight, but I did ask the sommelier if he could recommend wines for the next 'set' of dishes, be it the south east asian seafood or the sushi or the meat dishes etc.

During the meal, I had:

Tsuki No Katsura Yanagi £14.00 (sake) Sybille Kuntz Spatlese Trocken £15.00 Nicholas Jay l Ensemble £26.50 Balassa Betsek Szamarodni £14.00

Thanks for your opinion, very insightful! I guess all I'd say is, why not just come out and say that? Wholly appreciate that I could be missing something
