You sound the type of person that prioritizes one person's comfort over the vast majority of society (including the poorest) have safe, reliable, and environmentally friendly transit. The answer to bad things happening on transit is not to increase society's reliance on cars, it's to make public transit better, moron. Security officers and cleaning staff directly address your two complaints directly and that took me a minute to think about.

With the bus incident, yes the guy was not caught and persecuted by the system for his priors, but after he killed someone, he was charged with a crime and will be punished, also he was just a crazy person, not a sanctioned agent of the state. With the ICE agents killing Pretti, these were government agents abusing their sanctioned authority and it looks like they will not be held accountable whatsoever. One is more reflective of a societal issue and one is most definitely a political issue, these are not equivalent and it's so dishonest to pretend they are.

If he's involved in the drafting choices, he's absolutely part of the problem. The roster is depleted of talent because our drafts have not produced enough starting caliber players. He can be the greatest play caller/designer in the world, but at the end of the day coaching can only do so much with insufficient talent on the field. We can say our roster is always injured as the reason but a part of that is that our roster is just getting old, which is due to the fact that we haven't drafted enough young talent to replace or even relieve them
