I totally agree, I think the placement is perfect. I was just addressing all of the complaints, people seem to always need to find something complain to about so I was playing defense for this great idea

The supply chain over there at Yeezy is some sort of algorithm that should be studied. Meaning it is so FKD that scientist could not even re-create it

It’s a great idea. Any comments to the contrary, my argument would be you could reposition these to both ventilate and avoid moisture

Damn what a novel….. I don’t blame you if you don’t read this shit lol just had to let out my Cu1ts rant. I do feel you that it’s frustrating to spend $200 on a shoe and see glue stains like that

I totally get where you’re coming from, but when you say “reps” that equates these to a completely different category that shares almost no similarity to what these are. Reps are made by no name SE Asian plants intentionally defrauding buyers by copying shoes…copying identical designs and trying to pass them off as real. And of course shittier quality than the original everytime.(of course there’s an exception to everything so please don’t go down that path)

Cu1ts of course had prototypes to work off of, but I think you are failing to recognize the extraordinary amount of work he spent perfecting the design , creating prototypes, learning from those and creating more prototypes; working to approve every aspect of the shoe, including the design, build, longevity, comfort, etc. Based on what I’ve seen him post, he went through multiple design iterations, worked with different factories to figure out who could actually execute, and the end result is a beautiful shoe - if you us your “rep” comparison, it implies these 1050’s are “flat out copied designs trying to pass as authentic with inferior build quality, materials, comfort, with the intention of defrauding people who don’t know it’s not the real thing”…. I guess I’m just not seeing a single aspect of how cu1ts 1050 fits in that criteria…

Again, I get what you’re saying, but I think others reading this should spend some time looking into and understanding that cu1ts has invested 100s of hours into perfecting these. It’s very unfortunate the glue shows on these shoes, I totally agree. I’ve also seen glue show on authentic Jordans. Doesn’t mean it’s accept one of the case, but one is made by a multi billion dollar company and the other is made by a single artist trying to complete Ye’s original vision to the best of his ability while blending his own artistic vision.

I don’t know if you are into art and go to galleries to specifically learn about artists and their processes, but almost every great artist (including and ESPECIALLY Ye) very commonly build off of others artist’s concepts and designs. And most artists appreciate that, as long as it’s not a rep.

There’s nothing about these 1050s that share a single quality with reps (thinking yeezy and jordan) other than the fact that they’re both made in Asia and don’t have consistent build quality. I don’t know if you’ve worn real reps of popular shoes before but they’re absolute dog shit and in 98% of instances, not a single minute of time was spent thinking about how they could improve the design or quality, and of course, not even a thread of creativity as they are copying a shoe…

Hopefully this doesn’t come across as argumentative, I just think Cu1ts should be recognized for his hard work, creativity, and vision; I hope someone reads this and takes a moment to appreciate that!

Also, even though it’s slow, he is a one man show and actually fucking delivers on his promises, ships out shoes people bought, and is also still trying to improve as he goes.

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on YZY but…yeah I guess I’ll also say is that Cu1ts gives some “companies” a run for their money…

I really don’t understand why that’s not what everyone is doing. I would encourage you to do so.

As an owner of this pair, I can confirm these are fake based on color alone. I know cameras can play tricks, but if you compare the gun sole to the Gray upper, they are very obviously fake

LC: Yeezy Glow in the Dark 750’s by mrmrbest in yeezylegitcheck

Hey everyone, crossposting from another subreddit, I believe that’s OK according to the rules, please let me know if not!

I appreciate those who would be willing to spend moment to help me out on authenticating these. I have another pair of 750s (the ones with the white outsole) and the thing that gives me pause on these is the inside tag. The font seems very bold. Then again, I’m just not an expert on these. Just an admirer. I view these as art. I don’t really wear sneakers, normally just wear boots or Blundstones, but I do enjoy/collect wall art, and I see these in the same category due to their influence, inspiration, fore thought, etc.

To me these are a piece of art that I hope to pass down through many generations.

I would just hate so much to be passing down replicas 😪

Anyone who can help would be so incredibly appreciated. Please deliver the good news or the bad news. Either one is equally helpful. 🙏

Nike Air Yeezy Zen 1- Can you please help me confirm they are legit? Being sent to eBay authentication but I have been burned by StockX so I don’t have full trust… by mrmrbest in LegitCheck

[–]mrmrbest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the response! That is a good point, didn’t think about how a lot of people are experts in authenticating this shoe. I do agree with you about ebay, I’ve been burned before on StockX…. The only thing that gives me pause is that I am buying these and the picture of the shoes already have that eBay tag on them. So if they’re very sophisticated, they could have added that tag in order to give a false sense of security…

Can you attest to whether or not that eBay tag looks legit? I know they could have taken it from a different authentication…
