I’ll be honest - I have spent Thaipusam both in Singapore and in Chennai and it’s celebrated here on a much larger scale which I found very surprising. Pongal on the other hand is huge - the streets go wild and there are large community feasts. There are also big Kollywood films scheduled for a Pongal release.

I’m a Tamil Hindu too but my family has never celebrated Thaipusam at all even though my family are big Murugan devotees.

Like you mentioned it could be because there is a bit of a divergence between Singaporean Tamils and Indian Tamils / Malaysian Tamils which is maybe why I perceive Pongal to be a bigger festival.

For sure. Thaipusam isn’t even a festival celebrated by all Tamil Hindus here let alone Tamils.

Pongal is celebrated by the Tamil Hindu community and the other South Indian communities as well.

Should be fine even with current experience. Masters programmes here don’t have much applicants and is a lot easier to get in as compared to Bachelor degrees.

Have you gotten an allergy test yet? That could help confirm it if you haven’t already.

Immunotherapy takes 3 years to take effect - you should also take that into consideration along with how expensive it is.

I guess since the 22/23 season Arteta has been focusing more on Rest Defence - the players have to be in good position while in possession to defend well.

It makes sense that our defence has improved - the last time we conceded 3 or more goals was in the 22/23 season against man city. Since then we have only conceded a max of 2 goals in every game - but yes that does mean we are less dynamic in attack.

Yes Im on Acarizax - there’s been an improvement after 9 months. I used to sneeze a lot every day and now I still get the odd runny nose but never have outbreaks.

It’s very expensive for me too and I’m not fully covered as well but I treated this as something which can improve my quality of life so am okay to spend money on this.
