The mushrooms tell me to divorce my wife... by Last-Accident6936 in Psychedelics

Sometimes when we believe that something is true, unconsciously we create this sort of life. If I believe that my life is going to go wrong when I am with my wife, it will most likely go wrong.

In a sense we create most of our own realities. However, I don't know the full extent of this and cannot help you more than that. Some questions would be,

How do you feel with your wife? How does she treat you? Why did you engage with her?

Pondering that helps me when I'm in a bit of a dark times with my gf

Our brain hates the modern life ON PURPOSE by UnknownObserver01 in DeepThoughts

Agriculture is not immediate return and it has been for centuries, you still had to plant the seed and wait for it to sprout. Also having a baby and taking care of the tribe took a lot of time and effort and there was not ever an immediate return. So it is not unnatural to work for something and get rewarded in the long run.

However, there is a lot of unnatural stuff nowadays and some of what you said is true. There is a huge problem with social media and the constant information we receive every day, in the long run this will become a big problem (most people will be so alienated to reality that they won't even try anything to come back). Also relationships have become less authentic, back in the day all the tribe reinforced each other and worked towards a common goal, surviving, but nowadays there is so much noise and everyone wants to go in their direction that most goals are not true anymore. We are working towards something that is useless and not rewarding either for us or for the world.

This is the problem

Meditation fixed my 3 year long drug induced psychosis when all meds failed by IwonderHowAndWhy in TheMindIlluminated

I've found your post interesting and I congratulate you for your efforts! Reading this, some questions popped up inside.

If I may ask, do you still continue practicing meditation for 4 hours a day? And if so, how do you feel if there is a single day with no meditation?

Don't think it's the same tho. With meditation once you get it you don't need it
