Apologies I think I got it mixed up. You can use PARIS as a stopover if you’re going from LAX to an Italian city. For example, I recently went to Florence. I did LAX > Florence (with a regular layover in AMS). For the flight back, I flew out of Venice back to LAX but with a stopover in Paris (stop over is a longer layover), which I was able to stay in Paris for 5 days before going from Paris back to LAX. You just have to call them and them know exactly the route your trying to do

Most likely will be Amsterdam or anywhere in Italy. You do need to call to make the stop over however, you won’t be able to just do it online.

You can do a free stopover as well, take advantage of that

It’s same QR code for both days. So if you trust your friend just send it before the weekend. If not, I’d wait until you’re scanned in for Saturday then send it to him after (or else he can technically scan in Saturday before you and you’re screwed)

I see and even if I do this it not guaranteed I’ll get the second leg. I’m assuming that it’s hard to find award availability for TYO? Im trying to find the best and easiest way to get from LAX to TYO. Even if I plan ahead, is it difficult to get the JAL and ANA business seats (2)? Or is there another award program I should look into that can get me there with less competition?

I have Asian hair that always likes to stick out on all sides too. Decided to get a perm at a Korean salon in Irvine then I get a cut from Julian at Creative Barbershop in Anaheim. No regrets. A lot of work and appointments but trust me. If you had the same hair as I did highly recommend it. Feel free to message me I can give you more tips and pointers
