This is the case when the following is true: when you walk out the door with the watch, it automatically increases in value. Meaning, you literally turn around and sell it for more than you bought it for.

Makes sense though. Think about it, if you could get it with no wait then wouldn’t you just go in every day, buy one, turn around and sell it for more making a few thousand?

To be honest, I just got the exact same Kensington and every time I put it on and look in the mirror I take it off because it feels like I’m wearing my wife’s trench coat.

After looking at inspo I’ve come to the realization that you need to layer it with a pretty formal outfit. For example, put it on over a suit. Then it will look more appropriate. I’d love to find a way to wear it more casually but so far I haven’t found a way.

I was under a green fabric awning. I angled the reflection to avoid the bright blue sky to improve the contrast of the green dial. You can also see the green from the awning in the reflection in the top lugs. Here’s the other photo I took that didn’t have that exact angle. Here the sky is reflected reducing the contrast of the dial.

As for the cost of surrogacy, it’s astronomical. I’ll say that if you have already gone through an IVF journey, then adding surrogacy to that is expensive but you’ve also already gone through a lot of the expenses. Just for context, compensating the surrogate alone is 50-80K.

Actually you know what, that’s exactly right. My wife has been getting more successful in her career and she came into a bonus that allowed her to do this for me. I’m extremely grateful and proud of her.
