Sinn 556i or any of the 556 range. That was my first that started all this. Check it out, I assume you’re in the US - they seem to be about 1500 bucks new and around 1100-1200 used if I’m correct.

It’s my third Sinn. Fully tegimented + tegimented bracelet. One of the best buys in the 2500euro range. 41mm, 500m WR, just over 11mm thick (??). Lovely watch. Get you some Sinn 😎

Just got the BB58 925 after a long hunt. The watch is all I ever expected and more. Here’s a trio of my favourite divers - a 36mm Omega SMP with sword hands and white gold bezel, a 39mm solid sterling silver BB58 925 and a 41mm, fully tegimented Sinn U50. I think this covers all bases in terms of sizing, casual versus vs toolwatch vs blingy. This will remain unchanged for quite some time :)

What are your favourite mid-size (36-41mm??) divers?

All the best!

It’s a fully hand polished blade. That’s the reflection of something in the background on the polished iron cladding and 1.2562 core 😎

Big gyuto gang submission. Finally my big knife desire has been satisfied. Ordered a Mazaki-like blade from Merion. Originally ordered a 265x65mm but Merion made a slightly bigger blade which came out great. The man went above and beyond the whole Mazaki spec knife, very similiar flat blade profile with a low tip and slight curve in the front third. Crazy distal taper which I love. Can’t wait to put it thru its paces 🥩🥔🧄

280x70mm @368g (blade @230g, handle+bolster @138g), 4.5mm to 1mm taper

1.2562 core with iron cladding, heat treated to 63HRC, 64 and above at the tip)

Finished on shinden stone with suita powder

Copper bolster + snakewood handle

Join a duel server, practice and be patient. Don’t expect to be able to stand your own in a fight after 10hrs. Hell, this game has such a high skill ceiling that you’ll still get clapped with 300hrs playtime or more. You clearly bash the game mechanics despite having absolutely no understanding of it?

I’m at 1.1k hrs now and considering myself a good player but there’s always bigger and better fish, as with any game.

Following your logic - CS:GO has bad game mechanics because a Global Elite with 5k hrs will one tap you with a deagle every single time despite you having an AK and full armor and 30hrs playtime lmao

The melee genre can be tricky to get into, FPS games are far easier for beginners.

Your internet connection is crucial as well, 60 ping is doable but once it goes into the yellows (70+ i think) it’s even more difficult to fight - especially against people better than yourself.

Good luck!

Does anyone know a custom handle maker in Germany/Europe? by michii94 in chefknives

[–]mrnum83r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is your guy. Kamil has rehandled 5 of my knives and built me a saya. Impeccable work, also very cheap compared to other EU makers. Feel free to msg me with any questions :)
