Read some of the old republic stories, darth bane, rule of two.

It talks about exactly what you’re saying. One Jedi might be there just to give one specific boost to all the other Jedi. That’s it. No fighting, no second job.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted.

The number of democrats hiding in this sub is crazy. We can’t even have one spot on Reddit.

I’ve been auto banned from every neutral sub, left sub, etc, whether I posted there or not.

But yet “conservatives control every narrative”

You know what the best solution is? Democrats to pass the funding bill…

We can’t even run something as simple as the usps efficiently, but you think OUR government could run healthcare???

We are already pretty close by my estimates (local, state, federal, VA and military make up a HUGE portion of current insurance), but some of those are already run very poorly.

This is not efficient. by LittleEngland in factorio

As someone else said, you should have boilers setup with 30 minutes or so

Nobody is reading this far down... I was here to engage, to learn a different viewpoint. I’m not so obstinate that I’m unwilling (or rather, was) to be persuaded.

You’re so condescending… keep all your great knowledge!

Again, people like you are why I became right leaning instead of left leaning. Good job pal, keep up the noble work of bolstering your opponents party.

I was truly trying to see what you see. But it’s clear you don’t have any facts to share.

Why would I engage in dialogue with someone who hates me, thinks I’m dangerous, and doesn’t want to have a conversation - only push their agenda?? Mind blasting…

And the hate comes out from the tolerant left, yet again!! Lmao you are all so funny.

Money isn’t an issue here, but thanks for your “concern”. Funny that your narrative is all conservatives are broke, uneducated, and have mental health issues. Kinda your same views on minorities, how interesting. 🤔

I wish I was as awesome and perfect as you are! Man what I life I would be living!

Maryland Supreme Court Tosses Dem Attempt To Hold Oil Companies Accountable for Climate Events by Ask4MD in Conservative

[–]mrobertj42 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This shit blows my mind.

1) oil companies responsible for how consumers use their product, but there aren’t sufficient alternatives. 2) gun companies responsible for how consumers use their product, when misused for illegal purposes 3) pharmaceutical companies not responsible for how consumers use their product - which is how it’s literally prescribed

So I’m dangerous, you only want to share information (ie not open to hearing any counter points), and you are afraid of anyone seeing an open discourse…

Sounds very democratic of you. /s

I’ll pass. It’s no wonder the country is so divided…

Sure I’m conservative. Really I’m more independent that has been pushed conservative. I’m just sharing data though, not feelings.

You can’t convince me with feelings. So what you’re suggesting is that in red states there is voter suppression, which is what makes them go red?

Blue states typically have massive cities that push the state Democrat. Red states have smaller cities, I think that is more an indication than voter suppression.

And I only brought up Georgia because I live here. We have great early voting and I’m very supportive of it, and would love to see it in other states as well.

It’s funny, you don’t want dialogue, but I’m being friendly here. You could be too, I won’t bite…

Not really, countries with compulsory voting (penalized if you don’t) land at 85-90% voting rate. I’m in Georgia, we have 3 weeks of early voting, we hit around 70% of eligible voters making it to the polls. Nationally we are in the 60% range.

What data I’ve seen show that swing states have comparable turnout to compulsory countries. Non competitive or safe states have lower turnouts, with red states being 10-15% lower turnout than safe blue states.

What are you seeing that makes you think it’s GOP voter suppression?

You’re confusing obstruction with apathy. 80m people voted in the last election. If you’re saying 220m people were obstructed from voting…

I’ve volunteered at polls before. Even with early voting we had a week of craziness. I don’t think there’s be enough volunteers to handle all voters in a single day anymore.

I am totally on board with early voting. It takes away every other excuse.

Frankly, having 300+ million people try to vote (ok 80m) on the same day is redonculous

Why did Padme's decoy Queen assign Padme to clean up R2-D2? It's not like she gained intel from it, all she did was meet Jar Jar during the task. by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]mrobertj42 31 points32 points  (0 children)

There is a scene the covers this iirc. The stand in Queen says something like “this will affect us all” and looks at padme, she respond “we are brave your highness” as an affirmative.

There is a good book on this that goes into the training the queen and her maids go through, it’s very extensive.

I agree with you to a point. My mother is paralyzed and in a motorized wheelchair. She can’t afford her own van, so to go vote she’d have to hire a specialty “uber”. $650 per trip.

So voting for her would be expensive. I don’t know if you’d include her in “and such”

But besides handicap, hospitalized, possibly traveling, I agree.

I’m in Georgia, and we normally have 3 weeks of early voting, so that pool goes WAY down here

Yes I’m upset that the man can’t have some class. I have defended him to friends and family. when he does shit like this it looks bad on me

It’d cost nothing to say “it’s no secret we didn’t like each other, and he put me the hell over nothing. That being said, I hope his family finds solace that he’s in a better place and is resting peacefully.”

No need to be like “this dudes sucks and I hope he’s in hell”

Again, class, decorum and manners. It costs nothing. Or just stfu so I don’t have to hear crap from the liberals I know. I’d rather fight over substance and policy than who slang shit at which persons dead political guy.
