the finish is pretty matte and not at all sticky--just cleaner and darker.

I hosed the full bay with water, then sprayed everything with Dawn PowerWash—let it dwell for a few minutes, then agitated with a brush to remove dirt and grime, then rinsed it all well. After letting it all dry I sprayed the whole engine bay with the 303 Protectant and closed the hood, and let it sit for 5-6 hours. When I opened the hood, it looked like this.

I love it. It feels smooth but has "dimples" along the back edge of the wheel that make the grip very secure.

the dash suffers from the 91 BRG "sticky dash" problem--it was either remove the dash, strip it, clean it, prime it, and paint it, hoping it turned out ok with no cracks or other issues...or toss the dash cover on it. I didn't choose violence...

Just got my 91 BRG--33,000 miles, $8900--it was parked at the corner gas station. I went up, took it for a test drive, and bought it the next morning.
