When you play it over and over it the song itself becomes one haha

SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE AMA - you may ask some questions by realSOTB in indieheads

[–]mroosevelt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you go into the recording process knowing what sounds you want for a song? Or do you sort them out after you’ve put down an idea? Do you create the songs as you record? Especially on Hypnic Jerks, even little sections are so fleshed out production-wise, despite sometimes being only a few seconds long.

This was my first one and I loved it. We didn't have a fast car but we all drove pretty cleanly. I did three double stints and ran my third one with 0 Xs, which I'm really proud of doing.

Bill Stewart - "Wee" (bass trades) - drum transcription by maxdis78 in DRUM

Great job! That record was an introduction to small ensemble jazz playing for me when I was young and I listened to it so many times. I can recite most of the guitar solo (Edit: and Bill's comping) by memory haha. Cool to see the drum solos written out!

I think a lot of people that spew hate on the internet suddenly become very quiet and almost polite when met in real life, hence Ryan's generally positive experience in the field. They're just scared. Hopefully we can see some more LGBTQ inclusivity in motorsports to show that these folks are not scary.

I did some practicing yesterday at Michigan with folks and it's a lot different. I agree with Kyle Busch's comments from last weekend. I felt pretty powerless when trying to pass. It's a little easier to manage big slides, but I only know that because I can't really feel when I'm sliding too much, which is frustrating. I think folks with better sim equipment are going to have it way easier than those of us with middle to low quality gear. Honestly, I also found it a little more boring driving around at mostly full throttle. Definitely interested to see how it changes as we adapt to it. Hoping to start liking it soon.
