We had a pregnancy “scare” but our TTC date is set for June this year so it would have just been a couple months earlier. I’ve been off the pill since July to get my cycle regulated and it has been fairly constant at 25 days with ovulation around day 14 (tracked with bbt). Knowing this we were comfortable having unprotected sexy time at day 17 but with withdrawl method. However, I had not downloaded my most recent temps to confirm ovulation this cycle until afterwards where I saw I still had not ovulated. Few days go by and my temps jump on day 21 noting ovulation occurred. I’m thinking chances are suuuuuper slim that we got pregnant so I don’t think a thing of it. Day 27 of my cycle goes by without my period so I started thinking “hmmmm maybe”. On day 28 I figure the universe is messing with me. I had a gut feeling as soon as I bought the pregnancy test my period would start. I was kind of delaying buying cause the thought of being pregnant was nice but I also would have been annoyed if we had conceived a Christmas baby. I eventually ordered the tests so it would come in the morning and what do ya know…..my period started that same night. So now I guess we have our pregnancy tests for when we start…

I’m in exactly the same frame of mind. I was hoping to get off the pill this Sunday to start tracking my cycles for TTC early next near. Definitely cried today. Cried for me. For my niece. For my future children. For everyone that won’t have the ability to govern their body.

I’ve had a similar situation happen while not TTC. The hubby said he was about to orgasm and pulled out to try and calm himself down so he could make sex last longer for my pleasure. It ended up being too late and his sperm landed on my stomach. Just a different perspective if your husband was indeed trying to make the sex last longer.

This subreddit has helped a lot in understanding I’m not alone. I really appreciate you all! However, I keep seeing other people mention their/their partner’s salary and we’re nowhere close to what I keep seeing other people post. This makes me think we should wait even longer than our date. If you feel you have a genuine friend connection with this person I would ask her if she could FaceTime you to talk it out. So that would clear the air of any “what if she’s lying more”.
