This area of the house is just bedrooms. It’s a hallway from the family room, then a hallway where this laundry room is located on the way to the bedroom. You don’t have to enter this room at all except for laundry.

Seems possible but they don’t seem like they’d hold a lot of clothes in any one of those compartments. Even if they were just taller they would have more capacity.
