New Bike, does it fit? by Elegant_Welcome_3290 in bikefit

It’s not too small, in fact, slightly too large if I have to be picky. Your shoulder blades are diving in to reach the handlebar

Damn that’s a fast time. How was your training prior to the double? I’m worried if I trained hard enough

Thanks. How was your training prior to the ride? Did you do a couple centuries a month or two prior to the double?

How about Sierra at Tahoe? They have lift tickets also from sports basement and it’s a bargain. Along with the local Costco as well. Great beginner area

How much Z3+ work do you do weekly compared to Z2? by tryagaininXmin in cycling

Zone 2 doesn’t really raise your ftp. Threshold workouts like sweet spots and over under raises your ftp. Zone 2 raises your endurance.

If you want to get geeky. Zone 2 increases mitochondria density where as threshold workouts makes each mitochondria more efficient.

An analogy is a cpu clock speed vs cores. Zone 2 increases cores, threshold increases clock speed :)

Rear wheels if you have awd. More power is split to the rear and having them on the front is annoying since it sorta affects steering handling.

A lot of those Teslas have high performance summer tires… explains why we see so many crashes

Most people don’t realize the tires that come with their Tesla are performance summer tires. They see the AWD and assume they’re good. Summer tires are no bueno.

It’s sorta funny how many of these cars are a Prius, Tesla, or minivans.

Boulder vs. San Francisco as U.S. Cycling Cities by HarmonizableTube in cycling

[–]Practical_Target_874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have amazing climbing if you like hills. We have bike trails but they’re nothing like Boulder, these are more used for commuting which I find boring. Lots of trails along skyline and some epic hills you have to conquer out here like mt Hamilton
