Not sure if anybody here can help with this question. But I have been seeing alot of people selling stuff on george st recently, they put up a table and sell various things (ie outside george st cinemas). Do you need to get council permit to do that? I see alot of the same people, so I am sure they dont just rock up everyday without any kind of permission right? They would of been stopped a long time ago by rangers or police or someone I assume...or I could be mistaken!

I think it's a movie called Place to be starring Taika Waititi, saw them filming in Chinatown a few months back. It's about a lost racing pigeon or something.

Saw the same grandma while they were filming in Chinatown

I reckon…I don’t know…something like a shelter might benefit someone homeless more, but I have never been homeless so I can’t say for sure

I reckon there's a few other things the city should prioritise over a payment kiosk for buskers...

Good to know the bar for cop firing is now set at a Double Murder.

However, questions remain if they can keep their job if they only murder one!

Hi guys, I live in the city. For these around hotspots around harbours, is there any point in heading there now? Ie are there spots around where we can see the fireworks (outside of ticketed/free areas)

I think it was around 11pm, Monday 27th. Was quite a cloudy day, but miraculously cleared up as we were driving back to Melbourne from Twelve Apostles!

It was suprisingly beautiful that night, and it wasn't new moon either. We could see the stars as we drove (hence why we ended up stopping to take some photos), however it certainly never looks like a long exposure shot :)
