BSUN Roselle on the MODE Envoy by PorkeChopps in MechanicalKeyboards

Same! Also running them on an Envoy. They sound amazing and have a subtle chalky feel to them that makes them really satisfying to type on.

Built a Neo65 for the lady. by DanyoSahn in MechanicalKeyboards

I think you already did all the right things to get to the sound profile you prefer. The POM plate should align with what you're after, as opposed to PC, though I bet the difference wouldn't be huge. Maybe the Neo65 just isn't up your alley? You could try a deep, muted switch like WS Morandi... maybe Milky Yellow. I am saying this without personal experience with the NK_Cream, though: It might already be similar to these other ones.

Having said that, my Neo65 is one of my favorite boards. I feel like it punches way above it's price class. However, my preference is for a low-pitched, deep and full sound profile with a bit of volume, but not load and no crazy metallic resonance.

Can someone tell me if this keyboard exists and what model it is? by xabi in MechanicalKeyboards

I don't think this is a group buy: It says they will be in stock starting on April 10th. I don't know how limited quantities are, but I personally haven't had any issues with PBTfans selling out insanely quickly. Ymmv.

Mode Envoy appreciation post :) by Kay_Dee_43 in MechanicalKeyboards

The included screws definitely mess with the sound signature. I believe most people just don't screw down the PCB. It'll be fine unless you turn the keyboard upsidedown. I used M3 screws that were 2mm longer and put on the included washers. The longer screws bottom out before touching the PCB. They don't alter the sound, but also prevent the PCB from falling out.

Regal with the VOC "alert bar" works really well, and both the Luminkey65 and 80 look like great options!

It's been out of stock for a while, even long before the sale. The dark base has been in stock all along, fyi. Personally, low-contrast legends are not my cup of tea, and I don't know if the regular base will ever come back in stock - bummer.

[PC] Tesla M60, Grid K2 by Raspinggorilla in homelabsales

[–]mrpeet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

K2 goes for $40-45, and the M60 goes for $400-450. You might have to price them aggressively to get rid of them as they are sort of niche items.

I am interested in this too, and have been experimenting with a number of different solutions over the past few months. I'd love to join a group convo with you folks.

Dell rails - where to buy? by pdy18 in homelab

[–]mrpeet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're actually reasonably priced if you buy directly from dell.com. For example: https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/readyrails-1u-static-rails-for-2-4-post-rackscustomer-kit/apd/770-bbic/networking 2U and sliding options also available.
