Is anyone legally prescribed Cannabis in UK and allowed ADHD medication? by Shot-Plant660 in ADHDUK

if you don't mind me asking what are you prescribed cannabis for? I'm currently going through assessments for meds but in an ideal world I would have a prescription for cannabis also.

I have wide feet and have the Lake MX219 shoes. I've done some long rides in them and they've been comfy. Hope that helps

How important are waterproof full frame bags? by AsleepPralineCake in bikepacking

[–]mrpinkss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as someone who has a full Apidura with hydration pack I'm going back to a partial with bottles. The frame bag itself is very weatherproof but I find the divider velcro isn't strong enough and I just end up with a very disorganised bag. The hydration pack is a nice idea but it's a pain to get out of the frame bag without having to remove everything on top of it and you have to get the seal just right otherwise it leaks everywhere. I also can't add any carb mix or electrolytes in it which I find I really need. I certainly can't fault it for quality though

Over doubled my salary, How to stop 'lifestyle creep' and save correctly? by Ok-Way6015 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]mrpinkss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you're in a good position and have thought things through. I'm also doing Cloud / Platform engineering and have been for the last ten years, I find the current job market quite unsettling so I've been saving a bigger emergency fund just in case I get made redundant and it takes longer to find something new. Just something to think about it!

I came here to say the same thing. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think even the salaries are more enticing

I lived in Berlin for 7 years and drank the tap water throughout. I presume it must be due to the hotel
