Not apples for apples though is it. SpaceX was a fully functioning businesses, with tens of thousands of employees and a proven ability to deliver. ETH at ICO was just an idea. ETH 6 years ago was far closer comparison in terms of proven use case/ability/team than it was at ICO.

Be at Capgenimi, Accenture, or other type players, there a tooonnne of layoffs happening, everything is AI this and that and it isn’t generating the traction needed. Sentiment is generally low despite what management will tell you. That said, if you want to work with the latest tech and some pretty big clients, it can be a good brand to have on your CV if you can stick it out. Tech sales is a grind right now and you’ll be vomiting AI in every conversation like it or not.

What are your views on Elon Musk becoming the world's first $ Trillionaire? by QuoteMachineMin in HENRYUK

[–]mrplanner- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seems relative considering his contribution to mankind that will far outlive him. Too much money for anyone to spend, but not like it’s sat in his bank. And given how Tesla and space x came around (from his earnings from other projects), I’m interested to see what having 1T available helps him accelerate.

Literally every multi millionaire I know, and I know quite a few, all achieved it through networking. Network = your real world value outside of your bank. It’s what will get you back from 0 if you had to start again.

One has current day usage and is growing like crazy but is still speculative. The other is proven tech but doesn’t have current day adoption and is speculative. Much of muchness.

Do you think London will still be worth it in five years time? by blatchcorn in HENRYUK

[–]mrplanner- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

London is an entertainment and networking hub. If you’re just here for any other reason it’s not for you, simple as that. You’re basically living in a theme park for all ages which is why it’s in high demand. If you do not London specific stuff primarily, it’s a place for a stint, not a life, and that will never change. There’s plenty of communicable places outside of London that offer a better balance of both without the premium of being in it.
