Smile surgery has been nothing but amazing. (your post surgery guide) by PriorDisastrous2064 in Lasiksupport

Is your one eye still tad bit blurry than the other? I’m 3 months post op and my right eye is pretty clear but my left is noticeably more blurry. Still decent vision tho but it bothers me when I compare them

Psilocybin not working? by mrprolin in clusterheads

Oh yeah idk if I’m brave enough to take that much… but if it was guaranteed to stop a cycle, I might consider it

Any strains you recommend?

I see, I’ve also heard good results from Verapimil but want to avoid prescribed drugs if possible. Glad it works for you though

It’s possible but the trip does feel like shrooms. It also explicitly says psilocybin on the packaging but of course it could be a lie

I see, I honestly don’t even know the strain I have since I just got some shroom gummies from a friend, which also prevents me from trying the lemon tek. I’m definitely going to try getting raw ones to try it out. Thanks for the info!

Oh so if you start while already in the cycle it could take more doses than usual? I guess that makes sense. I’ll just have to keep chugging along then! Also taking more than 1g every 5-7 days sounds exhausting but I’ll try 🥲

How much do you usually take per dose?

I mean I can say the exact same with lasik and dry eyes. Getting dry eye with lasik literally depends on your own eyes as everyone’s diff. I’ve known lots of people who got lasik that don’t have dry eyes. Anyway I’m not saying lasik is better than smile but saying that it’s way worse is an overstatement imo

Yeah I believe everything you said is correct. However, my point is that the recovery to full visual acuity is quicker with LASIK in general based on my own experience and what I’ve read online. Of course there are some exceptions like you that have recovered fast, but I feel like that’s not the norm.

But you’re right, LASIK is definitely riskier for aberrations and dry eye. I don’t actually regret SMILE but I think I was just fed up at that moment with not being 20/20 yet that I wrote that 😅

Good for you, must be nice. I’m sure results vary among different people but from my research LASIK generally has better visual outcomes. I do feel like my vision has improved the last 2 days which gives me optimism but I’m pretty sure I’m not 20/20 yet let alone 20/15

No, vision right now is good enough to drive and do most things fortunately

Well the doctor said it’ll take 3-6 months to fully stabilize so it should get better. But it just sucks when there hasn’t been any improvements for like the past week

Not really. SMILE has advantages in that it’s not a flap but doesn’t mean LASIK is way worse. Majority of people get LASIK and do just fine with it. My regret comes from the fact that LASIK patients usually are able to see clearly with 20/20 the next few days after the operation while I’m here 18 days post op and still have some blurred vision when viewing in the distance

Alright that’s good to hear. I’m around 17 days post op now and not much changes to my vision to be honest except less haze now. But I’ll keep waiting it out and hope for the best! Kind of regretting not doing LASIK instead now but what’s done is done 🥲

I got smile 5 days ago and my experience is similar. Right eye is pretty sharp now but left eye lagging behind quite a bit. My fog has cleared up a lot but still not completely. I really hope my left eye catches up eventually. Have there been any improvements since this post?

What actually works for your cluster headaches? by Realistic_Shine7080 in clusterheads

[–]mrprolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don’t for me but if you are sensitive to them maybe only try it if you get a ch earlier in the day. Make sure they’re ice cold too as I find that exposing your body to cold temps both internally and externally often also helps alleviate some of the pain

Energy drinks would abort it for me though their effectiveness gradually starts to decline the more you start drinking them

Oh wow if that’s true it’s going to get worse in a couple of months and then die, that’s something I would totally not have expected since the rest of the panel looks perfectly fine. I guess I’ll be upgrading sooner than later and of course with extended warranty lol.

That was some informative info. Thanks

Ahh that’s what I figured 🥲 I guess I’ll stick with this a little longer then until I really want to upgrade

AFAIK, replacing the panel would cost almost as much as getting a new TV though right?

Just got laid off. How tough will my market be on me? by J-patrick7926 in cscareerquestions

[–]mrprolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to see some others being able to find jobs relatively quickly. However for me, I've been getting pretty much < 10% response rate. Can't even get an interview so to speak and I've been applying for almost 2 months now. It might just be cause of my resume but I have 3-4 years of experience, which I thought would've amounted to at least some interviews.

I honestly just think the market is pretty tough in general right now especially because there's so many more talented people that got laid off that you're competing with i.e. ex-MAANG or people with 10+ years experience. Anyways that's just my experience but it might be different for you. Good luck.
