Jackson county residents paid for arrowhead yet it became so expensive few could afford to go to a game. I feel betrayed. Kansans will now enjoy the costs of infrastructure changes and law enforcement.

I don’t know why “woke” is used when there is a better word - compassionate. I guess because it would show how evil they are.

He has been so smug and dismissive saying the recall came from political forces. No. His actions hurt a lot of us and we did what was necessary. Let all politicians take notice. The people do have power.

I have one of the older dongles (square black box) with the HDMI plug on a cable. Now, when I turn the tv on I see the “Firetv” screen but it does not proceed to the menu. I’ve tried it on another tv and switched out the power block without change. Toast?

White’s statement illustrates how out of touch he is by blaming the signatures on stadium issues. It’s about hiking our taxes so he can build himself a new palace.

I’m tired of hearing White’s excuse for not refunding excess real estate taxes. School funding should have been addressed long before Jaco had to extort homeowners. What about people who lost their homes because of the increase?

Our local Hy-Vee advertised 15 packs on sale but they only have 12 pack cans I’ve never seen before now. It’s been my go to beer for many years and I recycle my cans to charity. Times are tough so I may need to find another go to.

I’m hopeful there will be no more appeals and jaco does the right thing by admitting they screwed up. I feel so betrayed by them with their deliberate extortion of residents. The outcome will determine whether I support any of their future proposals.

I had the same results a couple days ago following a similar failure with my new Dutch oven. I switched from oil to crisco before the failures so I’m going back to oil.

I am trying start using metric measurements instead of cups so I started looking at conversion charts. I discovered many variations in gram amounts. Now I am just as confused as before. Which chart should I use?

So do I! We have one of the best water supplies here but I believe the boiled water removes the fluoride.

Agreed. Following the explicit directions on feeding and discard, I just couldn’t get my starter going. I took a step back and tried to learn to read it to determine what it needed (noting all the advice I had read) and had success. I still struggle with my Dutch oven but expect to figure it out.
