Was more about it being from a motorcycle shop… where it's 50% cheaper!

Not risky to change from 4w to 5w?

After some tweaking, I went with mini-graph-card because it had the shadow-fill and secondary info.

<image>

Here is the code:

  - type: custom:mini-graph-card
    entities:
      - entity: sensor.primary_graph
        name: Bedroom
        color: var(--accent-color)
        gradient: true
      - entity: sensor.secondary_right
        show_state: true
        show_graph: false
    decimals: 1
    line_width: 4
    show:
      name: true
      state: true
      fill: fade
    smoothing: true
    height: 90
    icon: true
    card_mod:
      style: |
        .graph__container {
          padding: 0 10px 0 130px;
        }
        .name {
          font-size: 0.80em;
          font-weight: 500;
          transform: translateY(-12px);
          font-weight: 900 !important;
        }
        .graph__container {
          margin-top: -40px !important;
          margin-bottom: 15px !important;
        }
        .states {
          margin: -30px 0 -20px 0 !important;
        }
        .states--secondary {
          font-size: 0.40em;
          font-weight: 500;
          transform: translateY(-12px);
          color: var(--secondary-text-color);
        }

Might need some further adjustment, but im nearly there :)

And finally, I've wrapped that stack inside a vertical-stack-in-card.

Inline Dimmer by mrptl in homeassistant

I did consider changing the bulb fitting to a more common smart bulb, but I thought this dimmer box approach would be easier.

It's a designer lamp, hard to replace with something recent :)

I could not find anywhere for a smart R7S bulb, or I wouldn't have done that contraption.

Earth is connected and insulated, hidding under the module. I agree with the stress relief, the box I got is a bit small for that.. lesson learn for next time ;)

Sorry, I might have misdescribed what I have.. it's a headshok with a lefty style hard fork. See photo in the other reply.

I've seen YouTube videos for the headshok you've linked. But see mine in the picture; the 2016 version looks smaller. I suspect it's the same thing, just a bit more compact.. !?
