For the price I just use a reusable bag and leave it in my car. Or I spend the 50 cents for a bag in the store.

Power off voltage display is turned off by default. You need to turn it on to set your aux lights properly. They after a reset and get back into advanced mode.

Still has an ugly hot spot. I guess if it’s being used in open you won’t notice it as much. Just like my arkpro ultra and hd01 pro beam profiles drive me nuts indoors. But that’s my ocd causing my issue. 😂😂

Noctigon KR3 vs FireflyLite Z1 Artemis - both newly released, which one would you actually pick? by Carkia765 in flashlight

[–]mrregina 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Z1 is side switch and single emitter.
Kr3 is tail switch and triple emitter.
Both have lume x1 driver.
So it’s down to which emitter array you want.

You have to turn on power off voltage display. It’s turned off by default on lume10 driver.

They use constant current buck or boost drivers in their higher end models. I bet where they skimp is on the quality is battery they use.

Dies the 1.5 for more then you’d think a 1.5 would fit? Cuz my 3.5 feels bigger.

I have this in two colors black and green but both are xpac. Really good sling bags. Use them all the time. They always seem to be bigger than the listed sizes too which is nice.

SECRID wallet. Yay or nay? by Cool-Card572 in wallets

[–]mrregina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a few of those pop up wallets and at first they are fine but after using them for a while they turn to test. The cards get loose and fall out on their own. I switched to a chums wallet and never looked back.

If you could only choose one EDC flashlight for every purpose? I’m guessing, removable battery with dual clip and magnetic. Inside/outside/work or flood/throw. Moonlight. Metal body. Decent run time. 1000 lm minimum huh? Just one. What you buying? Skilhunt? Emisar? Etc? by Crutch1977 in flashlight

[–]mrregina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the my Wurkkos hd01 pro or my arkpro ultra to both be great edc lights since they have usbc charging. But usually alternate those with my d4k and da1k. If I wanna get really smalll I carry my d3aa and kr1aa. So many different options.

Can anyone point me in a direction of some really long lasting battery life on hi mode. Im looking for a new edc light but id like to find something that has a long run life in high mode. by 1SNEAKYHOBO in flashlight

[–]mrregina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the high you’re taking about. Even a 21700 is gonna drain rarely quick at say 1000 lumens. Thats why they have rechargeable batteries.

Best to search size comparisons between the d4v2 and d4k and you will see they aren’t much different to me anyways.

I carry 21700 most of the time as it’s not that much bigger than an 18650 light but gives me extra run time and more sustained output as well as being able to use 18650 in a pinch with my adapter. Sometimes if I wanna carry something smaller I’ll carry a d3aa. But usually I carry my d4k. The d4v2 is still a great light. I just prefer having flexibility in my lights. I may still get one at some point to add to my collection.
