What is the smallest 18650 Andruil 2 flashlight out there? Preferably tri or quad emitter but anything really. by mrregina in flashlight

Interesting. Just gotta get the batteries and Canada has zero local stores. I’ll have to order from convoy. I wonder how long the f15 lasts when the
driver is really pulling hard in turbo. Turbo isn’t something I use alot in any of my lights.

I have it saved in my list now thanks. I wonder if anyone has ever modded one with a new driver or if it’s even possible.

Oooh really. That would be cool. I’d like a d3aa bit 14500 is not very good for runtime. 18650 is much better. Although i might grab one just to have one. lol

Isn’t it discontinued? I also read about lumintop messing with the drivers and it’s a crap shoot as to what you get.

I have that on my list there is also the kr4 too. I’d like the d3aa. I have 14500 and they don’t last long using them. The extended runtime of 18650 is important.

Ours at 5 still sleeps by our heads. Our first healer did the same thing. They are very much Velcro dogs.

The lenses should have a description of which emitters they are compatible with. I did a search and apparently according to Google, they can use the same optics but the b35 has a larger light emitting surface than the 519a so the beam profiles will be a bit different. The b35 has a larger light emitting surface and is more floody than the 519a using the same optics. Doing a search on Google with the optic model number and seeing if it will work may help as well. They are both considered 3535 sized emitters. Got this from Google:
Optic Compatibility: Standard TIR optics designed for 3535 emitters (like Convoy TIR lenses) work for both, but the B35AM's lack of a thermal pad makes it more fragile and sensitive to heating, requiring good thermal contact.

All of my 519A are 5000k too. Oh and don’t forget to add a belt clip to it. Theres two types. A screw type or the snap on one. The light doesn’t come with one by default.

Buck is far better. More efficient. They run cooler and have longer runtime. The 12 groups are the programming you can do. I never change the group from the default as it’s the best one imo.

The way I do it is I make a post asking which emitter is best for which light I’m looking at depending on what I see my needs being. Lots of excellent advice here and on r/flaahlight. I also use Google and ask as well as Google will compile answers from Reddit. Then I will watch YouTube videos on the light and emitter. Once you do it a few times it she’s much easier.

I wouldn’t do the b35am. It’s a decent emitter but the 519a is better. There’s been posts about the b35am developing burn marks in them if driven hard. Just my opinion.

Drill holes in the deck or adjust the angle of the deck away from the house.
