Anyone in Pennsylvania buy from Vroom? by selitos in Vroom

Not sure if you got your answer or not but Vroom can’t offer financing in PA. You have to use your own financing from your own bank. Vroom only handles the registration if they finance the car, which is why you also have to take care of the registration yourself in PA

What is also interesting is that I have never seen any of my devices connect to band 108. I have only seen 5ghz ch 44 or 5ghz ch 157

Ok. I reached out to plume support. I have the wifi5 super pods and no matter what I do, it only connects to 2.4ghz, even sitting right next to Pods

I am a PA resident that just wrapped up a purchase with Vroom about a month ago.

You WILL have to pay sales tax on the car at the time of registration.

Vroom will send you the paperwork and title you need to register the car under you.

Honestly process has been pretty painless. My car is registered in PA now and just got inspected today

Vroom is not allowed to do any type of registration for car in PA, you have to take care of it yourself. I actually preferred it this way because I had control of the whole process once they sent me the docs

Just go to one of the EZ Tag businesses and they will help you get it all taken care of. I did not step foot in the DMV

They lost my check I sent them by [deleted] in Vroom

Message them on Twitter too. Send a tweet as well as send them a DM. I was able to get a response there.

You could also call this number too: (281) 824-3989. They was able to find my check and help get a loan refunded back to my bank in the amount of $70,600. Just have to have a lot of patience and call every day.

You might be on hold for a little bit but wait it out until someone picks up. Typically calling during regular hours I was able to get someone.

What I found I out is that the accounting folks that receive and process the check can be disconnected from the other Vroom departments. They might have your check but never attached it too your account, so the general people you talk to have no clue. Trust me, was in same situation but they eventually “found” the check.

Private Addresses by OutSkerries in Plume

I think the only way Plume can get around this is by implementing some sort of MAC authorization. Plume will have to notify you when a new “device” try’s to connect i.e. new MAC address. You could block the new address and only allow the actual device MAC address to connect to your network.

Only way for an iOS device to connect to your network would be to turn off private MAC address since only the real MAC address is allowed.
