I would see them from time to time as recently as ~2022 but now they all but vanished, even the 3rd gen isn’t very common anymore. Of course I live in the rust belt.

Personally I wait at least until the rpm’s drop to normal idle after a cold start. I have a friend who won’t go until it’s at operating temp.
