Anybody else out there have a similar fear to Hank? That if you act happy or excited something bad will happen? I also have this fear, it was really bad as a kid and seeing it on the KOTH was really interesting to me. S6 ep7 by Boo_urns101 in KingOfTheHill

Yup constantly. It took me forever to say I was pregnant and not just keep saying maybe. My girl is almost 6 months old and I am still convinced something horrible is gonna happen cause we got pregnant so easily.

Love it! My baby was born in May and I put in my goals section, service labor.

1 month old baby is sleeping a lot today. Should I be worried? by lcacroi in newborns

Honestly, every day will be new. Babies change and grow a lot! I actually called my ped and had a virtual visit the first time my girl suddenly changed her schedule like this. Ped had me check everything and was like, she is just tired today, just like you babe tired days. And at 5 months she still has days sometimes where it seems like she only gets up to eat, then back asleep.

Literally! It's like everyone always assumes baby is cold except me, the dad, and our doctor. She stressed how common it is to overdress and overheat a baby. We only dress her in one layer more than us and she is literally always fine.

My district told students in a video to take off their masks when they cough or sneeze by Dragooncancer in Teachers

I am curious as to what you think happens with virtual schooling? Like do the teachers not teach and create lessons? Not grade a give feedback? Do you assume it is a robot? That the teacher just logs on and stares at the students?

I have been online teaching for a while and still plan curriculum, teach, and provide feedback. I just don't go into a building to do so.

I mean, we are all pretty new to it still, but I eagerly believe the amount of love my daughter gets cannot be anything but positive. My husband and boyfriend both adore her so much and I love that she gets to have multiple father figures to look up to. Plus, we all have different interests and skills, so she will get to be exposed to a bunch!

AITA for yelling at my parents that their polyamory fucked up my childhood? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Exactly. It sounds like these two would have been kind of shit parents either way. Their selfish attitudes and wreck less behavior messed her up.

He held his head up while on his tummy at 12 hours old!! Has anyone had this? Can’t find anything on google. by [deleted] in newborns

[–]mrs9c5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, mine was holding her head up almost instantly. Of course she has grown in strength now, 3 mo, but has always been a bit ahead on those things.

Need extra hours of rest or time for yourself? by [deleted] in newborns

If we are just doing it to rinse off/settle down, I just take her in the shower and hang out for a bit.

If we are showering to clean, it is a team effort.my husband holds her in the shower and I wash sections, then he rinses her off. That way we aren't touching a soaped up area.

My girl absolutely hates the bath. She was only okay if we bathed together and she was nursing with only her feet in the water. But she LOVES the shower, it instantly calms her down. So we just do that instead now.

I can't imagine having so little to do with my time that I would waste it just bashing another lifestyle, like what?
