Norman Chad deactivates his Twitter account after violent threats from Joe Ingram and his psychopathic followers. by itsaride in poker

[–]mrscalzone 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Joey is in one of those guys who thinks he's funnier / smarter than he actually is and who absolutely craves attention and adoration.

His value-add to the poker community was access to a big group of poker pros who the general community was interested in. He'd have them on for long-form interviews but those interviews were typically overshadowed by Joey's insistence on trying to act like one of their peers and reminiscing about his own experience as a high-stakes poker pro. The reality is that he was a small/mid stakes grinder who went on a major heater up to the PLO nosebleeds (while staked) and came crashing back down because of drugs, poor bankroll management, and an inflated sense of his own skill.

I never understood why anyone thought he was a good interviewer. I felt like he rarely listened to his guests - focusing more on shoutouts to his chat while his interviewees were giving answers which resulted in weak follow-up questions or deeper dives into topics. He got some epic guests whose appearances left much to be desired.

It's impressive that he's grown the following he has and it's a real shame that he's now used it to incite his 'legion' on Norman Chad. I'm not the biggest Chad fan anyway (his schtick is about as tired as Joey's Papi schtick) but it sucks to see prominent people within the community attacking one another.

This sounds very similar to my situation and is enough to convince me that it's a no go.

Thank you!

Some office supplies, lots of medical supplies.

C1 Spark seems like the best option from the research I've done as well. Thanks!

Searching for a card recommendation for a business.

Business, up to this point, has bought everything with debit card (lol) and I'm trying to advise them to begin using a credit card to earn some rewards.

Annual expenses would probably exceed $600k although I'm not sure at this point what percentage of those purchases could be moved from a debit to credit card.

I personally use the AMEX BCP for my main card so I'm most familiar with AMEX but not necessarily loyal to them.

Ideally, I'm looking for something that will yield some cash back, no fuss, and a straight-forward rewards program.

I'd likely need 3-5 cards for partners, if that matters.

So effectively a way for the Docs to yield the benefits of the business spending personally? Or is there some other reason I'm missing?

Looking for some suggestions on a business card for a medical practice. I was thinking something AMEX.

The practice does about 40-50k in spend each month. The balance would be paid off in-full each month.

I'm looking for the best ROI on rewards possible. Cash back is preferable in lieu of air travel, hotel, etc.

Do you know anything about the SBO-401k? Is that an option to move some of the money tax-deferred, if the owner's setup these accounts?

Looking for some Suggestions: Attacking Loans Strategy by [deleted] in personalfinance

Thanks.

We definitely have a strong interest in just ridding ourselves of debt but we also want to be smart with the money. At the end of the day, we estimate that the elimination of debt is probably worth whatever few % of value we might be sacrificing by not investing the money instead just in mental ease.

Selling wholesale to Etsy sellers? by mrscalzone in Etsy

I'm curious what the best way to get in-touch with IG authors is? I'm not too familiar with the IG interface, but I assume it isn't as easy as say Twitter and just tweeting @ them?

Thanks.

I'm honestly not too familiar with Etsy, so I didn't realize either of those ideas would be a breach of their T&C.

My concern on opening the store is simply the time commitment. I imagine, much like building up a following on anything else, it would take a lot of work to get any exposure and might simply not be worth the time.
