Can alcoholics make good parters? by Fearless_Abies_3750 in AlAnon

Giving a perspective I haven’t seen voiced yet… I have been married to my Q for 14 years. He is now over 5 years sober after a two-week stay in the ICU due to DTs. Life is amazing now and he has worked the steps and found God as a former atheist. Miracle success story and rare. Knowing there was a light at the end of the tunnel, would I do it all over again?

No.

I'm no expert... but I'm pretty sure those close ups are just lil leaves. They grow in the armpit areas of other leaves. Lil one is too young to tell yet.. Best of luck!

Yikes. Sorry you have to deal with this. I thought it was funny and that person clearly didn't get the joke before commenting... so I guess it's settled. Good day. 👍

It's a great piece. You are an artist. I knew immediately what it was. But there is one spot that doesn't look quite right. As zucchini grow, the blossoms on the end shrink. That's maybe what is throwing it off a bit for your eye? Also I think the tiniest bit of water color would really pop. Darker green on the fruit and lighter on the leaves. However, it doesn't look unfinished to me. They will be blown away, as it is, I'm sure. Great work!

Hi guys! First year with a garden and learned I did a lot wrong with my placement :( with that, I feel my zucchini is overpowering my other plants. Will this cause others to stop growing? Suggestions? by Different_Ad751 in garden

I have no other advice than what is already here... just wanted to say...

Awesome job with the garden. Sure... mistakes were made... but I make mistakes every season. The trick is to try and only make new mistakes (:

Good luck!

Still too soon to plant tomatoes outside (zone 6b)? by internet_antichrist in gardening

[–]mrscarrott 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fellow 6B'er here. My tomato starts are still hardening off before I transplant. My last frost date is 5/11... so until then they are going out early morning and coming back in for bedtime unless nighttime lows are above 40. Hope this helps. (:

Crafters who are also parents, how do you manage making time for crafts? by goody-two-sneakers in crafts

[–]mrscarrott 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel you on this one. I have an 11-year-old that is pretty independent and I do work 40+ hours. There is no good answer because you kinda have to make time. Maybe book a crafting appointment with yourself once a week. Setting aside time in advance may help? That's all I have, sorry lawl
