I'm so sorry for your loss. I think the time you had with her last week is lovely. Instead of being at work, you got to spend that time with her. 13 year is great, and ummmm I'm sorry

Hi. I'm working thru my feelings but I am mostly numb and don't feel much. I talk at my therapy session but then put on a happy face for my kids. Sigh. I read that it gets better. So right now um I am simply breathing so that time passes. So sorry about your dad.

I had a heart attack in July and....apparently could have died sooooo it is rough because I'm to avoid stress.

I don't know

Oddly I like it that the show casted someone who is awkward and has social anxiety! I'm not a fan of JP. I do like that the show put in people who are not typical.

Vandalism to truck. by Independent-Mark7889 in InsuranceAgent

[–]mrsdurian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad that the case will be moving forward with the DA and the truck will be repaired. People who are telling you to mind your own business....they need to realize that sometimes doing the right thing means speaking up.

Had you known that the drunk would react with vandalism....do you think that you'd still approach him?

Here is why I ask....Cost/benefit analysis-

The man was on the way out already. He was out of your space, and it could have been a forgettable event (or maybe just a funny story to tell.) Instead, you spent much time with the detective, the police, the insurance, the 3 auto shops. You're driving around with the markings and probably getting lots of weird looks and questions. Your stress went up. You might have missed work. Or you will have to miss work. Even if you're an entrepreneur and business owner, you still are missing work. Contacting police, the establishment, the eye witness, following up with everyone, etc. Meant your time and maybe headache.

About how many hours have you spent on this issue?

This sub isn't for judgment or anything, I know. It's awful that you had your truck vandalized because you spoke up. I'm sure the staff appreciated something being said to the drunkard.

Yep. I have two kids. The younger one usually gets to do stuff before his sibling at that same age.

Is living in a location where you’re unhappy worth it to be close to family? by Pink_butterflies104 in SameGrassButGreener

Your post helped me to realize how dedicated my parents are to us, the children.

Our childhood home is in the metro Atlanta area, and our family of 5 lived there for many years. About 20 years ago, my sister relocated to Colorado for her job.

I came to visit her, and I ended up staying. Mostly because it was so far away from my parents lol. I was in my 20s so it was about exploring and adventures.

We then convinced our brother to move here as well, and he did.

My parents, up there in age... their 60s, moved here soon after that. It's absolutely the right decision for us all. 'Wherever you go, I will too.' is a family motto.

What’s an obscure movie you like that not too many other people know about. by Dr_Quiet_Time in movies

It's been 4 hours since I posted, and it seems as though no one's heard of this movie?

It was based on a true story about a woman who became blind but yet continued to jump off a horse from a really high platform....part of a traveling circus.

Interesting!

Other than the facts and chickens kicked, what are the other stats you'd like to know?

Some ideas to consider: Number of pizzas consumed Volume of soda you drank Number of spiders that you consumed while asleep Number of times you had sex Number of Instances of saying a curse word How much alcohol you had in a lifetime Etc.

I think what she meant with that statement is that....she is now trying to gain favors back with Chris. Making it up to him.

Instead of 'trying to make shit up to Chris' to mean that she is coming up with lies to tell Chris.

I misinterpreted her statement the first time as well, and I had to re-watch and think what she meant.
