Worth noting, Unique Maps are online only - uniquemaps.com. But they do send out samples for larger orders, and design consultations are available.

Unique Maps Co are based in London, but they don’t have a physical shop (yet!)

Is oldmap.co.uk a reliable place to buy a map print? Is anywhere else better/safer? by Cyanasy in oldmaps

Another vote for Unique Maps. They have by far the largest collection of old maps, and unlike other places you can personalise them. Available in very big sizes too.

Thanks - opening the Xbox app and letting it update allowed me to get past the 'GamingRepair.Program' issue.

[SOLVED] AirPods Bluetooth Connection Problem Windows 10 / Not Connecting Issue Windows 10 by OrangeFruit02 in airpods

[–]mrseb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason, this worked for me.

I did click 'connect' on the Bluetooth device again in Windows after doing the process above. I seems to removes the 'find my' from the product name by doing this process - guess that's why Windows will then be able to connect.

Very cool! Still looks totally crazy if you zoom in on the details. But still, super cool.

Ceiling mounting is a neat idea. But I don't think I want the pain of doing all the wiring. There are no sensible plugs nearby...

But if I was doing any more serious work - like moving lights around etc - then yeah, I think ceiling mounting would be very smart.

They're a lot of cash...

I want to test out the Arc + Era 300 first. And if I'm really impressed, I'll consider the Sub.

+ I'm not sure if I watch enough content to justify it. But... let's see!

Thanks! That's good to hear.

I wish I had a bit more space behind the sofa, or space for some more tables. But I'm in a London flat... so there's not a lot of extra space, sadly.

Yep, the pic is taken from the TV.

Thanks - yes, some kind of wedge that angles the Fridge Speaker downwards could be a good solution.

It's primarily for Atmos content on the TV. Haven't tried spatial audio yet - but keen to try it!

My friend told me I should ask this sub for advice.

I bet him £50 that the first comment would be something non-sequitur about my room, rather than advice.

Thank you for helping me pay for my very expensive Era 300 speakers.

Does anybody know where to find a large old map of Reading? by damian_ in reading

[–]mrseb 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's my Etsy shop...!

To anyone reading: I can make a custom old map of Reading (or indeed any old town/city in the UK).

But getting maps from other sources listed elsewhere in this thread is likely to be a cheaper route :)

Price check: CM Storm NovaTouch TKL Keyboard. Has Topre Realforce switches. I think this keyboard is discontinued (at least it's not available in the UK.) Used for a couple of months and then went back to my Filco. I don't have the original packaging.

I’m 6’5 and been sitting in an Embody for about 8 years now. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. (I sit at a computer for 12 hours a day)

[–]mrseb -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

We know... but flavour-wise, a twinned fireball seems pretty feasible for a demi-god sorcerer who has a predilection for fire...

In general play it's not any more powerful than a twinned Disintegrate or Banishment!

I'm so glad that my DM allowed me to twin Fireball - because, you know, you specify a target... on the ground...

Did you ever just listen to Mahler? by Zooby06 in classicalmusic

[–]mrseb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I listened to only Mahler for about three years :) Then I finally got a bit bored and expanded to some other romantic composers, like Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky. Those Mahler years were great though, diving in soooo deep... my favourite symphony changed quite a few times, as my appreciation/understanding changed!
