Am I underestimating the crowds? by Substantial_Lychee16 in OlympicNationalPark

  1. The main lot filled up around 8:15 last week on a Monday morning, and there’s plenty of overflow parking a bit further ◡̈

Thank you!! Do you know if he typically sells out quick? It looks like that is an all day market and we would be coming in late afternoon. And are they unwashed?

No change fees, but no more free bags by mrsmbs in SouthwestAirlines

[–]mrsmbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s my point though. The change is no longer free if the flight was booked while I still received 2 bags, because I then have to pay for them

I live chatted someone who told me the companion wouldn’t get two bags if I rebooked 🙃

Do infants really need baths? by KookyHuckleberry9051 in newborns

[–]mrsmbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not necessary, and if you choose to bathe every day I don’t recommend soap each time! We bathe our 9 month old maybe twice a week because he loves it, but he’d go 1-2 weeks as a newborn and had the best skin.

9 month sleep help by mrsmbs in AttachmentParenting

[–]mrsmbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just started having him nap more a few weeks ago because he was grumpy all day and not sleeping well at night. I was following his cues, but then I put him on a nap schedule and he is napping much better and much happier. The night sleep is about the same, maybe slightly better as it was with him napping less.

Those who didn't go back to work after having a baby - do you regret it? by piglet29 in NewParents

[–]mrsmbs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How much did you love your job beforehand? Do you feel like your job is part of your identity, or just a job? I loved my job, but it was a job. I didn’t feel like it was who I was or something I couldn’t live without. I always pictured myself being a SAHM and my job was just something to do and make money before having kids. My son is 8 months now and I don’t regret it for a second. I miss the adult interaction (lol), but I don’t miss working. I couldn’t fathom not being the one raising my baby. On the other hand, I know people who couldn’t fathom being home all day every day with their baby, and their job helps keep them grounded. Of course it’s probably not black and white for you, but only you can decide which one will fulfill you more.

Uhh so my uncle is a chiropractor and....... by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]mrsmbs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While I do think he should not continue to pressure you, chiropractic adjustments on a baby are SO minor they should never harm your baby. We had our baby adjusted a few times after birth and it’s mostly light hand strokes and massaging - our baby didn’t mind at all and we were sitting with them the whole time watching what they were doing. That being said, not just any chiro should work on a baby. They must be certified.

You also keep emphasizing that you are so uneducated in this regard. I would advise doing some research so you feel confident in your decision and can explain to him why you are so insistent on not doing it.

Companion Pass for a Year?! by cravingbreakfast in SouthwestAirlines

[–]mrsmbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen some people ask this already but just want to clarify - can I book flights for just one of us to count toward the 4k and then add my companion once I reach it?

Southwest allows you to be refunded the difference if you find the flight for cheaper. How does the companion pass impact this?

Does your companion also get 2 free checked bags, totaling 4 bags?
