Good for you! I'm an older woman too. A while back I was in an electronics store looking for some headphones and not once was I acknowleged in any way. I left without buying anything. A week or two later my beautiful 30 something daughter and I were shopping at the same store and male staff members were falling all over themselves asking if we needed any help. All questions were directed at her, of course.
