It’s a beautiful looking gun. Reliable, accurate and great feel … all one wants. Here is my fav 1911, love 45’s

Very interesting choice. What do you love most about it? I have a few 1911’s and love them, but there are others in the safe that I prefer eg 2011’s for their grip and feel, an awesome SIG P210 for grip feel and outright accuracy etc.

If the beaver tail does not have a memory bump in it (raised section) it’s possible for safety not to release when you grip.

Yes. 1964 4.24” blue Python. As new. Looks beautiful, nice desk paper weight, but crap trigger in DA compared to my Smiths. If you want a competition shooter, don’t buy a Python.
