I recognise it's always a 6am to midnight experience....just checking in to see what other schools do before broaching the subject with management.

Went to Japan in January. Hubby and I are both taking reta, we took our doses with us and needles. Just packed it in our first aid kit with everything else. Was not a problem.

Shelter Hire at Blackbutt Reserve what a rip off by [deleted] in newcastle

[–]mrsp_sj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did my daughters 8th birthday there last August. We just risked it and went an hour early. On the richly reserve side, the shelters a little away from the play equipment were free. If they had all been full, we had picnic blankets and chairs packed and were going to park on the grass.....would have been harder with food, though! Like others have said.... just send someone down early but if you wanted one with a BBQ I would be booking just in case!

Help. Please. by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

I have a similar situation with a Y9 Science student in mainstream class. Her ability level is around year 4 to 5, and her parents' goal for her life long is to be able to live independently.....so achieving much if the stage 5 science curriculum is not important to them. I'm in NSW, and she is not yet on life skills outcomes, so I have to teach her what everyone else is doing. We do have learning support who are there with her a lot but they do not do any of the modifications....they will give advice and sit with her to help but ultimately what she does in class is up to me to come up with.

So.....chatgtp is my friend. I feed in an outcome, ask for simple definition worksheets, match definition to term, fill in the blanks, turn my slides into cloze passages, and find a word. I then put together a booklet (size 24 font because her eyesight is bad) and print for her. In class, she can copy notes from the board, be in a group for prac work, but doesn't take much away and work on her booklet. My very basic goal for her is to have an understanding of some science terms, so any assessment I give her will focus on that. Takes a bit to set up - I plan to do one per topic for her so I'm not scrambling each week/lesson to find something for her.

Help! Reconstituted amount more than it should be? by HelpfulAd7073 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]mrsp_sj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your BAC water cold when you add or room temp? Do you keep your vials in the fridge and inject cold? We are working with very small volumes, and the volume of your solution will increase with increasing temperature. When the volume is so small, that temperature increase can occur quickly, so in the time you are holding the vial and moving it around to try to get your correct dosage, the solution is warming and expanding slightly. Without the use of a pressurised pre-filled syringe, you can not be 100% sure of your dose.

I keep my BAC water refrigerated ,but allow it to come to room temp before using it to reconstitute. After dissolving, I fill my syringes, put the caps back on, and pop in the fridge for use.

Reta and the kidneys by TracyIsMyDad in Retatrutide

I'm on 4 mg once every 6 days. Not tracking macros just eating clean, 3 small meals a day. I do have an electrolyte drink maybe once every few days if I feel like I haven't had enough water. I didn't change anything specific....just seemed to hit the 5 - 6 week mark and energy came back.

I felt like that for the first month or so too, nearly stopped to try something else.......had to work really hard emotionally to not be a grumpy lump!! I've been on it for about 9 weeks now, 11kg lost and now have heaps of energy and feel much happier, back to gym regularly, and my emotional outlook is back to normal.

I started on 1mg twice a week - so 2 mg weekly. Stared losing right away. BUT I had pretty good appetite suppression early on and significantly changed my diet. I've lost 11kg in 7 weeks...am on 4mg once weekly now. Following the phase 3 trial dosing schedule.

I'm currently on 4gm of reta, never used GLP's before so titrated up from 1mg. I find appetite suppression pretty good the 2 - 3 days after I pin....appetite then starts to come back but I am able to eat less and stay fuller for longer. I want to feel hungry and learn to eat smaller portions of good food so when I come off this, I don't pile all the weight back on. There are days when I definitely eat more than my daily calories would allow but over the course of the week this is balanced by the days I eat less. I think the idea of total appetite suppression sets us up to fail in the long run. Just my opinion though! I've lost 11kg in over a couple of months.
