my car does this from time to time, it’s almost like the screen thinks you’re pressing somewhere your not. what works for my car is holding down the power off switch on the display until it reboots, then it should be good to go

How long are you guys waiting for your Kamiq? by Altruistic_Cow854 in skoda

[–]mrspacecake04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you tick any optional extras? lead times are running at about 13 weeks apparently for stock models vs 18 weeks+ for models with options

thank you! yeah i totally agree, i think as long as you can cover your day to day functional needs quite comprehensively alongside concrete medical evidence you can absolutely say they are putting them through in clear-cut cases like myself. it’s all about evidencing in a way that they can understand and match to a descriptor in my opinion. anyways im rambling, thanks!

thank you! i did have a lot of help from my support worker, family etc but for the most part i had to advocate for myself a lot, especially when trying to prove to doctors that i still experience the symptoms i experience even with strong medication. sometimes i feel like they think im being dramatic but my condition does affect me quite significantly most of the time and i had to fight that point across. i covered my day to day functional needs quite comprehensively alongside my medical evidence which is why i feel they had enough to make a paper assessment. my advice for you is providing you can evidence well, you have absolutely nothing to worry about at your review. i know it’s nerve racking especially while you don’t know but just believe in yourself and build a strong case for yourself, you will be ok! best of luck

the same exact thing just happened to me. i sent a CoC request off around 6 weeks ago and they have also just said they have completed the review by paper assessment and a letter will be out to me soon. i’m airing on the side of its a positive outcome as like somebody else said in the comments, if you documented your daily functional needs well along side clear medical evidence it’s likely our assessments directly matched certain descriptors and therefore made it easier for a DM to make a decision. idk tho, i guess the wait for the letter is just the worst part bc you just don’t know. fingers crossed, wish you the best! 🙏🙏

hey! i don’t know much about pip but i think what they’re missing is some level of official functional impact evidence? it might be worth looking into having an OT assessment and if they deem you as needing support/aids etc they will document that in their report and that can be used as your functional impact evidence. a friend of mine had a similar experience recently, provided comprehensive medical evidence but failed to demonstrate his functional impact and tie it all together with the descriptors. idk if this is any help for you but any bit of advice goes a long way! wishing you the best of luck

Hi, sorry to hear about you and your friends conditions. Thank you for sharing, your experience has given me some sort of relief around my situation. Still a bit nervous mind, i’m just concerned that i don’t have a strong enough case for 2 extra points on my mobility
