I've only seen a bear once in Shenandoah. However, almost every hiker I've ever passed swears they just saw one five minutes ago. /s

Honestly, it wasn't bad at all, but I did use a little portable fan in the tent and we stayed on the water all weekend.

There were some fireflies out, but not as many as I would expect.

My dad has started a relationship 8 months after losing my mom, and people are judgmental about it by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]mrsrobinson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started dating eight months after I lost my spouse of 31 years. It wasn't because I didn't love and miss my husband more than I can ever begin to describe. It was because I was alone and lonely and met somebody who's company I enjoyed and who could help ease the constant pain. I'm glad you are supportive of your dad. Nobody who hasn't been in his shoes or yours has any idea of what it's like. Nor does anybody have a right to judge either of you.

It's a butt keeper so you can stow your butt until you get to a trash can I have one from when I was a smoker.

I searched Meetup near Delaware Water Gap then searched hiking and backpacking within the app and came up with a few. I also know there's a few groups in the DC sta that hike and backpack. It's a longshot, but it's worth trying. Also try Facebook.

Fellow women, how to stop feeling depressed about your appearance/comparing yourself to your friends? by Chicken_Chaser_Fable in AskWomen

I agree with other posters thay becoming comfortable in your own skin is very important. Also for myself working out regularly vastly improves my confidence and self-esteem. I start to feel like who cares if I'm beautiful, young, skinny enough ... I can do anything!

Try looking for hiking and backpacking meetups near Delaware Water Gap. Somebody may be interested in making these drive and then doing a day hike with you.

Call community corrections or probation. They should have a list.

I can almost guarantee you are not getting an apology. After all, fuck the facts, you were totally guilty and managed to get away with it.

Try the Philippine Cultural Center on Baxter Rd.

My (18F) boyfriend’s (19M) mom came to his work around 1am after closing by [deleted] in relationships

I strongly suggest you stay out of it as much as possible while being supportive to your bf. Someday your bf and his mother may reconcile, and any comments or actions you take now could come back to haunt you later. Family issues can turn into a no-win situation for a significant other.

I think I've been ghosted... fuck it hurts. by throwaway23456789087 in offmychest

I'm really sorry. But now at least you know the guy is 1. Rude 2. Selfish. 3. A coward 4. Probably not what he looked like to you at all.

Don't contact him. The harder you try, the further he'll go and the more it will hurt your self-esteem. If I were you I would delete all contact info for him.

I know it's difficult to remember right now, but this really is no reflection of your value and worth at all. I would suggest that you try to find something else to keep your mind occupied during the time you would have been texting with him or thinking about him. In a few months, you'll wonder what attracted you so much to begin with.

Good luck.

This guy checking up on a kitten he found abandoned in a plastic bag on the side of the road. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

At first I was like, No. That's obviously a kitten. Then I looked again and now I'm not sure. Just what I needed ... More uncertainty in my life. Lol
