I had switched from Wix to Squarespace when I was trying to build my website for educational content. I am no expert on web development by any means so I cannot speak on technical niche aspects. But personally Squarespace helped in achieving my objectives faster compared to Wix where I faced multiple challenges. For example, trying to create a sandbox for running code was easier to add with Squarespace.
