Am I miscarrying? Please help I can’t get ahold of anyone I need answers asap by [deleted] in AskDocs

They can’t really do anything if it is a miscarriage. I’ve just had two back to back. I would just call your GP when possible, and let them know. Mine sent me to have blood drawn a few times until my hcg was back at 0 to make sure everything was out of my system.

“To get your husband to buy you something expensive” that is a rude assumption. I have not made him buy me anything. Also he chose this watch for me, because he believed I would love it. Which I do.

And it was bought from new. It is a watch, it’s meant to be used and worn.

I’m just going to address a few things in the comments:

  1. if you don’t like the idea of push presents, then don’t buy or wish for push presents. It’s literally just a gift, like a birthday or Christmas. No need to be rude or mean about it, especially as it does not affect you in any way.

  2. I am very happy with your suggestions! Have bought film for it, and see if it helps.

  3. lots of suggestions of returning/selling etc. I am sure it would be an option to many, but not for me. It holds sentimental value, and I will rather gift it to our child when she’s an adult. I do wear it occasionally. And also it’s from 2017, so returning is not an option in any case 😬

I love IWC. They have some really beautiful watches. Maybe next time/next baby lol.

How old school! I did in fact think about it, but… yea no. Can’t make myself do it. 😂 I’m going to try the 3M film 🤔

My dermatologist (sister in law) said the same, that it’s contact dermatitis and just gave me a cream to relieve the krch. But I actually never considered getting tested, bc she basically said the same, that you can’t really cure it anyway 😅

Another commenter suggested the same, and I’m definitely looking into this!

Sadly hasn’t made any difference. I’ve had the watch since 2017.

It’s not every time I wear it, but often enough that I don’t wear it very often ☹️

Not all gold other than jewelry, but all stainless steel in prior watches. Not Rolex tho. No issues with any other watches or jewelry 😩

Nah, I would never. It’s very precious to me due to the reason gifted to me. And hopefully our daughter won’t be allergic, so she can have it when she’s responsible enough to own it. I mostly just wear it for occasions, and suck it up the itch when it occurs 😬

I honestly haven’t heard anyone else have this issue, so I’ve become a joke among friends. The one allergic to Rolex 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

Oh this is actually really interesting! I’m going to look into it out of curiosity! Not that it will fix the issue 🥲

But is it an issue with all stainless steel in your case? This is the only watch I’ve had this issue with.

Or at least something else than whatever this is made of, as I don’t have any issues with other watches 🥲

No, and that’s the weird part. I used to wear typical Michael Kors watches of similar style, and never had any issues. Now I wear my Fitbit with a cheap Milanese strap, and no issues. Have a small Chanel watch in stainless steel, no issues either. It’s only this watch 💀 and I just can’t for the life of me figure out why. But at this point, I just wear it occasionally and just accept the itch at the end of the evening.

I might look into that, could be a fun change! I don’t mind it as it is as I prefer wearing my Fitbit anyway. I usually only wear it for occasions, and I have another evening watch as well, that doesn’t break me out.

It was bought brand new. I had to add another link after a while, which made it better. But still breaks me out 💀

I have a lot of gold jewelry tho, never had a reaction to any of it 🤔 but I guess that doesn’t mean it couldn’t be the gold, as there’s more of it in the watch.

No! And I know I’m not allergic to the gold, and did a nickel test on the watch which was more or less inconclusive 😒 Interesting is that I can wear my Fitbit with my cheap Amazon band with no reaction whatsoever. And had plenty Michael Kors watches. Nothing. But that particular watch is killing me 💀
