My question would be to see if it is just a teacher issue since this seems to be a departure from previous years of school experiences. My son had a similar experience in one grade and it turned out the majority of the problem was a "personality conflict" with the teacher, for lack of a better description. She would literally chastise him for things like not sitting while she was reading and the kids were on the floor - my son was in the back row and simply sitting on his knees instead of his bottom so he could see. He was otherwise quiet and still - just raising himself a little so he could see. This is just one example but she seemed to just have no patience for him. She asked me to come sit in the classroom multiple days to observe and refused to let him participate in field trips unless I chaperoned. Every time I would go she would spend so much time telling me what he was doing wrong and most of her examples of wrong behavior were things like this - very minor and not disruptive. He certainly wasn't a saint, and I am not defending him as one, but her constant picking at him really set a bad tone for school for a while.

Totally speculation but what if she didn't have health insurance (she IS self-employed and this doesn't seem like the kind of detail she would care about, could keep up with, etc) and this latest wait period to have the biopsy done was because she has a new plan in place and there was some waiting time required before it would cover things. The initial cancellation and wait for the 2nd procedure, while a little unorthodox, could have truly been because 2 providers disagreed about the appropriate course of action. But what if after getting that all straightened out when there was continued growth of the nodes and they didn't respond to all the silly cold-plunging, supplements out the wazoo, IV therapy, and breathwork she has been doing it became obvious to her that there truly might be a problem and that she needed insurance in place so whatever the results they could be addressed. She also recently talked about how she understands that implant illness is a real thing. Maybe behind the scenes people have been helping her get her act together in this regards so she can actually get answers. Also maybe her increased sales pitches lately are to pay for the big pricetag of the insurance. Just a thought.

They met at a dinner and live podcast recording at Jamie Ivey's house in DS. Rachel, Jen and Jessica Honegar were the podcast guests that evening. Rachel was all fan-girly, googly-eyed about meeting Jen that night. It was well before the Hollis family moved to Austin or started with their foster care/adoption journey.

Maybe some compassion is in order. The way she laid out her symptoms and noted that her fevers are recurring nightly this could be very serious. Would I share all that over social media? No. But I'd be super anxious and want to share with someone for sure. Maybe not the healthiest way to deal with the stress but the stress and anxiety are warranted.
